Hopefully they include a reduced spawn of Dragons in a new patch. They became so annoyingly frequent that I ended up restarting the game and avoiding the main quest all together.
I know this can be modded when the CK is out but I`m on console and hoping Beth does address it, some time in the future.

I would rather they fix the more serious bugs first, such as lagging and crashing, then minor bugs, then balancing, then CK.

Install the game to your console. It helps a lot. I've done it with all of my large map games and it fixes most of the issues. I stil will get a small lag or hickup here and there, but generally stops the full on crashing of the game, except when I super crack out for 10 hours solid, then my console tells me I'm a loser shut-in and stops working.

Any quest-destroying bugs must go.

This was probably sed over and over but I THOUGHT YOU WERE GONNA BE TALKING ABOUT THE CREATION KIT!

Yea, I totally forgot about the CK, oddly enough :P. Probably because I'm a purist and tend to stay away from mods. I only used a single mod in all the time I played FO3, and it was only a very simple addon which changed the Pipboy light. That may change with Skyrim though, because I suspect that some very high quality stuff will be produced.

Beth doesn't need a balance patch, don't make the game easier then it should be. Forsworn Conspiracy is this games Abomb and it needs to be fixed before we even talk about a balance patch that we don't need.

If you do not want a overpowered character do not invest in the perks that make it that way.I always laugh and people complaining about balance and say certain trees are to powerful simple do not use them.It is up to the player if they want to run a godly built or not

[censored] the balance patch. CK this month.

For all the PC users maybe, us console gamers could care less about the CK. we want our quests fixed.

They should focus on fixing bugs/glitches, not "balancing". Let me point out two things:
Single-player: Balance between character skills is not important, removing/limit certain skills for monsters? Maybe. Bugs/glitches? Important, single-player games often contain more cutscenes and dialogue than multi-player games.
Multi-player: Balance between characters is important, everyone wants to play their part, equally. Bugs/glitches are important, but the relative difference between balance and bugs are much smaller than for single-player games.

For single-player games, you could try to restrain yourself. For enchanting, at least the fortify carry capacity enchantment should be able to have a greater value. I mean, enchant your gauntlets and it only reduces the weight by 30-40% or so. Focus on bugs/glitches and the Creation Kit and then you can get some inspiration from modders themselves for what "balancing" changes that can be made. But I have to admit that smithing levels a bit too fast. It's easier to steal ideas rather than coming up with them on your own.......

@born2beagator - Totally agree with you, we all want our quests fixed and bugs killed, but as a PC user myself I have to admit that I REALLY (the caps was intended) want the Creation Kit to play around with.

I hope that they finally patch Creeper in Morrowind. He buys everything for full value which is super-unbalanced, because by spending a few hours selling/buying things from him I can make massive amounts of money. Then I go an spend all of that money on awesome gear and training and suddenly I'm super-powerful! So unfair. YOU BROKE IT BETHESDA!!!

And for me again, 50+ hours on this character, i've had two (2) random dragon attacks. Good thing there are the lairs and MQ encounters for me to unlock shouts with. Get of your lazy butts you [censored] dragons! :swear:

I've played that quest trough three times and it has never had a single hitch. What's the issue people have with it?

Markarth guards don't get rid of your bounty, pretty much locks off that city unless you kill all the guards.

 i cant use duel wielding because it makes the game to easy even on master level. even with only a couple of perks in it it becomes overpowerd.

they leave ingots all over the dungeons and they have various mines that you can mine ore from. just by using what i find on my adventures i always end up with enchanting and smithing nearly if not entirely maxed out by the time im level 30. i laugh at people like you that say im supposed to deliberately ignore all ingots and ore i find and not use enchanting or smithing. if bows were made OP in the next patch your brilliant idea would be to simply not use archery. balance is important in any game. almost every RTS has a super unit when they are first released. if we took your advice the developer would just tell their customers to ''not use that unit in future games" thankfully they usually ignore crappy advice like that and at least try and make balance changes.

Oh no. CK should come first so modders can iron out a ton of bugs quickly while Bethesda fixes major lag and crashes. Then all Bethesda really needs to do is look at what the modders did and they can patch all the stuff using those mods as a template.

Oh no, your absolutley right. Because the majority of Skyrim's players play on the PC... that would make perfect sence.

he never said it would effect the majority.. and releasing the CK prior to any patches wouldn't effect consoles whatsoever.

Sorry i have not read 3+ pages of replies but really what does balance mean in a single player game.... balanced against who? OP reminds me of people blaming Mcdonalds for being fat. Dont craft armor.

Maybe a modder can create an Argonian who goes around with a spray bottle filled with vinegar and sprays you on the nose when you smith or enchant because having it in the game is too hard to avoid.

Sorry but when you cant even USE game mechanics without becoming OP it needs balancing period. You do not even have to exploit said systems to make the game easy as hell I certainly haven't and I am still playing on master trying not to visit every dungeon so they become locked at the level I am currently to return at a higher level.

I'm hoping they won't change things I like a lot...other than that, I just want everyone to be happy with whatever it has in it. That would be nice.

:tes:

I do not think they will change things by nerfing them, that will piss off loads of people, more so as many play high level character who will not be able to get new perks to compensate.

Bethesda has also never fixed game mechanism exploits, zero mana spell with magic skill over 110 in Daggerfall, fortify intelligence potions in Morrowind, spell stacking in Oblivion.
They fix things like duping or loops who gives free money, they also fixed an insanely overpowered robe in Morrowind who did restore health 10/ second constant effect, however this is the only object I know they have nerfed.

With balance fix I assume they will boost destruction as it's clearly weak.
If you want lockpicking and sneak to be twice as hard the CS is coming out along with the patch so you can modify the game.

Yeh? you just walk around with no spells or armor and fire breath things to death on master eh? must be nice.

I have a damn good question here, why doesn't Bethesda make a deal with Sony to release the Creation Kit on the PS3 and make Skyrim Modable on the PS3? As far as I know, Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 allowed Mods and it worked out just fine.
