Lost, season 6.

Post » Fri May 27, 2011 4:38 pm

So, I was perusing the net today and I came across what seems to be a legit clip of the first few minutes of the first episode of the last season, which premiers in a few days.
WARNING: Spoilers

Spoiler
It seems that when they threw the bomb down the drill tunnel, it actually did restart the timeline. Although this is obviously not confirmed, just speculation.

Anyone else a Lost fan? I love the show, seen every episode at least twice. ^_^

Oh wow, people still watch LOST?

THEY RESTARTED THE TIMELINE?!

Man the writers must have written themselves into a hole.

Eh? Lost has some of the best writing I have ever seen on a television series. I dunno what you're referring to.

I'm excited that it's going to be over. It's gotten to be so ridiculous and weird that I don't really enjoy it very much, but I still just have to know how it ends, y'know?

Same here.
I've been watching since the beginning and I just want it to end. The first and second season were a bit decent but then it went downhill from there.

Yep. Watched all of the First and Second seasons on Hulu, then once I saw the first episode of the third season I just stopped. Too weird for me thank you very much. And too outlandish. Complex. Ridiculous. Any number of adjectives to describe how crazy those writers are.

And you only made it to the beginning of the third season. It's only gotten more convoluted since then.

I wanna' know what happens.

The brain guy said that regarding time travel, what happened happened and cannot be changed so maybe by dropping the nuke into the hole they created the problem with that station to begin with.

I'd rather untangle my fishing line that's been sitting in my tackle box for years than watch Lost.

That being said, I watched around the first 2 seasons. I hated every second of it.

Why did you even get to the second episode of season 1?

Lol this has to be the best way to describe watching an episode of Lost.

Also, that show is still on?

Over it now. It was sweet for the first season or two but then the writers just went all over the place trying to keep everyone interesting and it just turned into a big [censored] mess.

Once all the best characters died or became obscure the show died as well. It has been six seasons and the writers have not been able to comprehend the fact that everybody hates Jack and Kate.

Yeah but now they've opened the door to bring back all those dead characters, so this season could turn out to not be a major disappointment.

Of course it's hard to disappoint when everyone is expecting it to be terrible.

I'll watch it, but only because I've been watching it for so long I actually really want to find out what happens to certain characters - Sawyer, Hurley, Jin and Miles mainly. I still don't like Jack or Kate, and I've actually struggled to find anyone who does. I can't believe the writers can't admit Kate is one of the most poorly-written female characters on TV.

And hey, it can't be as bad as season 5... can it?

I quit around the middle of last season. It got WAY too confusing. (My parents are still avid LOST viewers though. :P)

I can't wait. That said, I've watched the first five seasons on DVD, so it's going to be a killer having to wait a week between every episode, whereas previosly I watched three or four episodes a day.

I'm not really understanding how people are saying the writers are crazy and the show makes no sense. My entire family watches Lost every season it comes on, kind of a family night when the episodes come on. It's not confusing, at all. If you know how to pay attention to minor details and think about them, you don't really get lost. No pun intended. The episodes make perfect sense, if you realize that it's not reality.
But..isn't that ANY show? That isn't real life? I'm pretty sure it is. It's not real. It's not any more outlandish than Star Trek, where apparently space is made up of waves like the ocean allowing starships to "bank" as they turn haha. That's real huh. And I love Star Trek. Just stating how things down make sense, because THEY AREN'T REAL.
It's not supposed to. It's supposed to be fun to watch. And it is.
That being said, lets keep this thread moving in a positive direction, if you don't like the show and have nothing to contribute to the thread, let me be real candid with you I don't really care, so don't post.
