Patch #1 Unofficial bugfix

Post » Sun May 27, 2012 10:55 am

Updated: 19 december 2011. AntiFREEZE patch 0.096 seems final version of this, now all it's code moved to my graphic mod ENBSeries.

THIS PATCH ALLOW TO USE SEVERAL D3D9.DLL FILES TOGETHER! Read in the docs about [PROXY] in config file (readme_en.txt also).

Hi
I found that game works incorrectly for some hardware and drivers, so did a patch. For example it fixing invisible fire from dragons, magic fx, volumetric fog and other effects, black dots and "fence" on the screen on ATI and NVidia cards, long time freezes per 3-5 minutes of gameplay, some sound problems. In future i'm planning to add new visual fx to this game.

download it from my web site http://enbdev.com

Good luck!

Guess not, but try it anyway, may be some specific bugs reduce fps. From what i saw, performance mostly depends from "detail" dropdown box parameter in advanced video options (or how it's named, don't remember). Anisotropy should not affect it too much, so i'm playing with 16 and everything else set to max (but no antialiasing).

Do you recommend anything I could do to improve performance? I'm happy to play on Medium/High but I really want the FPS to be 60+.

I had that briefly. I reset my nvidia profile for skyrim using nvidiaInspector which fixed mine.

Of course it's not have viruses or any kind of other software code, except patch, made by myself.

Don't know yet, i found it and fixed, but the bug is dangerous and may produce crash and bsod. Unfortunately, i'm busy with graphic mod for Skyrim, so can't play and test for other bugs.

You are amazing! This fixed the problem that I and many others had with Flames and webs etc not showing up. The game is perfect now and I can actually see the dragons breathing fire, frost etc at me now! YAY!

Does anybody fixed long lines of stretched geometry with this patch? And what about performance, is it better?
BTW i don't understand why from time to time game running at 7 fps and after restart as normal, 25-45 fps. Can't find any dependency yet. May be just unlucky memory fragmentation, because the game not utilize more than 500-600 mbytes.

The same path, where tesV.exe is located, depends from steam installation folder. Don't forget to extract enbseries.ini also.

When i try to play now it crashes directly. The small menu opens then i click play and it crashes.

Do i need the d3dx9_26.dll or d3dx9_40.dll from your website?

Try to turn off antialiasing in game options, configure catalyst control center (for ATI) or nvidia control center to disable forced antialiasing/multisampling (if enabled) or stereo and so on. Also, make sure XFire, Afterburn, XVGA overlay or gpu tweak tools are not running, they are not compatible with enbseries or my patches.

Perhaps not, because if they are not installed, message will appear.

Boris going to give this a try later tonight when I am home... This looks like a separate config file along with the DLL, is this going to overwrite the graphical options I'd set for the game with some custom ones you've tweaked or is this some sort of other magic you've performed? :D

Turned off the antialiasing, still crashing and nothing else is running. Also running it at low setting.

It don't help my perfomance at all. I get 60fps and a massive jump down to 30fps all the time with or without this. Bascically because this is a console port it... well people won't lke this

*sigh* it needs to be capped at 30fps. So a mod like the stutter remover mods for fallout/oblivion would help me and alot of people out.

Haven't been having any graphics issues so far, but I'll try this out, see what it does. Worst case, I have to re-DL the game = P No biggie.

Playing on Ultra (no .ini tweaks) except AA off and FXAA on.
