will your next patch also fix the rampant pop-in issues that aren't fixed with setting or ini changes? as seen here:

look at the stone wall in the middle of the screen, it's blank/colorless

when i take a step forward:

I've messed with every setting I could think of and nothing fixes it. Can you confirm this issue or is this something that's specific to my machine for some reason?

Are these decal lod's appear in original game also or it's a bug of patch? You know, i heard from one user that water with my patch is like black oil, but the truth is that it looks like developers did, so i not sure... And i'm at the beginning of the game, have no idea where is that location on the screenshots. Any more specific info?

Exactly what does this mod fix? I'm interested in installing it but I always don't wanna install something I don't know what it does.

What do you mean? I wrote what it's doing, in short. If you don't have any graphic bugs, ignore it (from what i know, users sometime have no idea that their game look incorrectly).

Sorry for the late response. Anyway, yes these appear in the original game. The location is Fort Sungard but this occurs on most stone walls.

I just noticed that when you get close to any vegetation that isn't grass it starts to move in ultra-slowmotion. Disabling your mod fixes it, but I really have no idea why.

EDIT: I take that back, it used to fix it. Hmmm.

Hi,

this patch seems really, really great.
However, I have the problem that my game BlueScreens 5-20 minutes in.

I'm currently at work, so I can't test it, but will/can this patch help with that issue? Did you fix something that could cause such a thing?

Thanks,
Bob

Hi. Do you mean that game itself, without this patch produce BSOD or with my previous patches only? This one have many different changes, but BSOD is more likely videodriver problem (i'm always suggest to use older drivers for videocards of previous generation and newest for dx11 compatible). Try anyway, many players noticed it works fine.

Actually, Skyrim itself is causing me BSODs. I didn't use any of your patches before.
I don't think it's a driver problem, though. I sweeped in Safe Mode and reinstalled them twice. Also, only Skyrim is causing this. Other, more demanding games are working perfectly fine.

I'll definately try it anyway when I'm coming home. Thank you.

Unfortunately game use some specific per videocard tweaks, so i'm not so optimistic regarding drivers or game itself. But if only this game "generate" BSOD's, you must try my patch, it may really help.

Well, there are a couple other people with this specific problem. Most use ATI cards, it seems.
I'll try to report back later this evening if it worked.

Thanks for your help, and keep up the good work!

Yes. Now run the game launcher and recomnfigure it again to setting you wish (it's now detected as new videocard).

Patch worked for me....took a severe hit in frames though. Not the patches fault, my hardware is old. (GeForce 7950GT OC 512 x2 SLI)
Gonna try disabling the shadow fix (which looks great btw) to see how much it helps - gonna have to trade off something. Didn't know i was missing that much - I knew fire, webs, & clairvoyance were missing but the entire atmosphere of the game changed ( for the better) with this patch. Highly recommended if your rig can handle it all.

Guess not, but try it anyway, may be some specific bugs reduce fps. From what i saw, performance mostly depends from "detail" dropdown box parameter in advanced video options (or how it's named, don't remember). Anisotropy should not affect it too much, so i'm playing with 16 and everything else set to max (but no antialiasing).
I can't play with Anistropy set any higher than 8x, even at the driver level.

Ok, I turned shadows to low & the frames are back to playable again.
I thought the game looked great before but now it's AMAZING....i mean even the map has clouds??!!
I'm almost thinking of starting over just to see all the details i've missed.
And here i thought my card simply didn't support the shader models or something.
Shame on Bugthesda for missing this ...and mad props to you good sir for fixing it.
Thank you.
