PCPS3 Release date, Part 5

Post » Sat Nov 17, 2012 5:08 am

I had a gut feeling the DLC wouldn't be coming out the day exclusivity ended. Business is business and I accept that fact. Games are difficult to create and market; I also accept that fact. Unfortunately as time passes most folks will have spent so much energy tracking the release date for Dawnguard on PS3/PC that interest will wane. My interest was at a peak last month on June 26th. My interest today is minimal, as I'm sure others are approaching.

Release it whenever. I may or may not purchase it based on my disinterest.

I have plenty of other games and by the time Dawnguard makes it to PS3 my thrill for another questline may be fizzled, much like a failed shout attempt on cool-down.

I think PS3 should get it first because they dont have any mods basically. I wont be mad though if PC and PS3 get it on the same day. PS3 has suffered more than PC. But hopefully bethesda wakes up and releases it soon rather than late.

We get armor mods. Nothing compared to Dawnguard. There aren't very good quest mods saturated. Besides, it's not our faults that Sony didn't buy a premium or do anything to push PS3 to a priority of Bethesda's.

Oh well, I personally don't care anymore. I have a Fallout New Vegas playthrough I need to finish anyways.

Neither should get it "first".

Both should get it at the same time.

All gamers regardless of platforms should be equal with Mutliplatform games. In this sense we are brothers and sister of The Game! o,,o

Wow. That was just low. It isn't our fault Zenimax / Bethesda / Sony is treating you guys like crap. I thought we were in this together.

Well it was just a joke so no need to get dramatic here. But ya, It seems like PS3 is getting screwed the most. I surely hope they come out at the same time, but its unlikely. Bethesda has ruined everything for that system. PC atleast gets mods, but i see your point.

1st off it was a bad idea for bethesda to give xbox 30 days ahead, MAYBE 15, and the price should be less than 20 too since they ignored the other consoles and left us in the dark, like not even a nightlight, and we have to suffer w8ing 30 days longer for next dlc too, and in the end they will make less on profit cuz we will buy other games and forget about skyirim... shame on u bethesda... SHAME!!

Sooo..... What are your predictions on the actual release date... I'd say mid-august probably the 14th. They tweeted that they needed a couple(about 2) of weeks for the update 1.7 to be properly tested. So it shouldn't be another month of waiting for us.

I don't even see the point of testing 1.7 I mean they did a beta test for dawnguard and all the bugs that was in the beta are still in on the full release on the 360 at the moment. Heck they added a patch that changed the water and ps3 players games crashed whenever they entered water and this was when the patch was fully released.

No matter what happens in the 1.7 beta it will be really buggy.

I'd say early to mid august. Bethesda can go [censored] themselves for all I care. I am not impressed/.

I don't have many games and don't know of too many, but since these guys are just going to treat us like dirt then can anyone recommend any similar games to skyrim? Maybe also with vampires and from a company who cares more about their customers?

The only other fantasy game I have is Dragon Age. These guys are really ticking me off so I'd like some ideas on other games to buy since apparently these guys don't want my business. PS3 user here and thanks in advance. (If it's too off topic then private message me, thx again)

Patch 1.7 is ready for release. At least on my PC, no mods, it runs really well and smooth. Much better than 1.6.

Hopefully it'll go live on Tuesday for PC and be submitted to Microsoft and Sony for approval and release the next week.
