People who really deserve to be assassinated?

Post » Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:19 pm

I'm surprised nobody mentioned Farengar, the court mage in Whiterun. That guy almost calls you stupid to your face. Nazeem comes second.

Yup!Farengar deserves to be assasinated the rough style! After I got his stupid artefact he first sent some thugs after me and after they failed an assasin of the DB. Unbelievable.

Talen-Jei, this walking luggage set, has the nerve to insult me even after I help get THREE flawless amethysts so he can propose to Keerava. Ungrateful bastard, I didn't have to use that threat against her family, she gave up the gold as soon as I started talking to her.

About half of Riften... Most of the City Guards. A third of Windhelm, and this includes some dark elves, not only Nords. Three quarters of Markarth, and uh... I'll get back to you on that.

Odd. I've never had any issues with Farengar....

is there a mod that will allow you to kill essential npcs?
you can kill most of the essentials through console commands.

i made a bat file that has all the npcs on the uesp wiki set to killable. but even with this, some are still unkillable depending on when you encounter them (and which quests are still yet to be activated)

I punched Nazeem in the face and lured him all the way to the nearest giant camp just to see him sent screaming into orbit.

Fixed.

She's a [censored] and both in the Thieves guild quest and in the Legion quest she turns in some nice profit from the player actions. I wish there could be a way to replace her with someone else.

Since I'm on a PC, I'm tempted to make her both non-essential and a follower and see if I can use her for Boethiah's Calling.

I have a request. If you do manage killing Maven , by all that's holy and decent kill her little noodle of a son too. There must be absolutely no chance of him succeeding her in anything. The daughter's not near as bad.

A lot of people hate Nazreem here, so just for an FYI you can kill him without repercussions if you're already Thane of Whiterun. I got sick of hearing him in my first play through so I took out my sword and carved him up. The guards , of course, went hostile and I put up my sword. When they tried to arrest me, one of my options was something to the effect of "I'm a thane of Whiterun and I demand you release me at once." They respond with something like, "Oh ok, just make sure it doesn't happen again."

Just make sure you don't have a companion active at the time. When the guards went hostile, Lydia went hostile and a bloodbath ensued. Had to reload and do it again. The funniest part is listening to the NPC comments when they come up on the body laying in the middle of the path for days............. "somebody should clean this up!".............."What a shame!"

Echoing the many others in here, Nazzeem.

Please let him condescend to you a few times before you whack him, so we're all reminded of why we like him so much.

Delphine. How DARE you ask me to
Spoiler
kill Parthuunax? He's done more for me than you EVER did. I thought you were COOL, lady. Turns out you're just a big ol' dragon-racist. Pffft. Whatever.

Cicero, most definitely. Killing that little bastard felt AWESOME. I know you have the OPTION not to kill him, but MAN. It's almost irresistible, isn't it? He's clearly been specifically designed to be as wheedlingly annoying as possible. I hated that little knob so much that after he was dead, I dragged his body over to the brazier at the end of the room, and draqed him over it. And even though Nazir and Babette have moved into the Dawnstar Sanctuary, and there are currently prisoners chained to the wall in that room, he's still there...stripped nvde, and cookin' away. Seems fitting.

Belethor, and the elves from the Radiant Raiment. Look, I know being a merchant can't be ALL giggles and sunshine, but you lot have some of the svckiest attitudes imaginable. Oh, and also that Nord jerk who runs the shop in Falkreath. Lemme get this straight...I drop thousands of Septims with him, stocking up on stuff, and he still has the stones to threaten me if I try to steal anything while I'm on my way out the door? Y'know, I'm thinking I might actually try the trick W1tcher mentioned, and rob Belethor's sorry behind blind when I get home.

But the #1 toolbox I wish I could kill? Ulfric. MAN, I hate that guy. I actually loathe him so much that I actually tried to send him to Sovngarde once. I just marched right up to his slouching, sneering carcass right on his pretentious throne in Windhelm, and introduced him to the business end of my Legendary, Fire-Enchanted, 270-damage Daedric Warhammer, "El Smasho the F**ker-Upper." After enough bashes to the melon to bring down an Elder Dragon, he just stood there scowling at me as the guards tried taking me out.

It may not have worked, and I had to reload the auto-save from when I walked in the door...but at least I felt a LITTLE bit better after I used him as a punching bag for a few minutes.

Was so annoyed when i found out he was immortal
ITS MAKES NO SENSE EITHER!!

Others would be

Blades remnants - stop telling me what to do! IM A [censored] DRAGONBORN
Maven Black Briar - Im standing next to you with a large sword, and you talk to me like that!?
Aerin - STOP FOLLOWING MY WIFE EVERYWHERE

Yah, the Blades in the later game are particularly annoying. Not only do they demand that you kill someone who is pivotal in helping you save the world but the say that if you don't they will ban you from (your) temple which you got for them. >_> Whats great is that if you inform Arngeir about what they asked you to do then when they show up at the peace conference he verbally rips into them. =D

Delphine annoyed me right off the bat. After you do to meet her the first time she gives you this attitude. I told her to tell me why she asked me here and she says something like "I'll say what I want, when I want it." Well since the game didn't give me the option to say "Look *****, you called me here, you stole my damn quest item, and you are asking me for my help. You answer questions when I ask them and you ****ing like it! And drop the attitude with me in the future." I just hit tab and walked out on her mid sentance. She could wait >_>

Ulfric Stormcloak, Korir, Skald the Elder, Siddgeir, Maven Black-Briar, Nazeem, nearly all the kids, Delphine, half of Windhelm, and most of the Dark Brotherhood and Thieves Guild.

Ever tried stealing the soul gems he has lying around on the table? I've noticed, though, that it's pretty random what sort of things get NPCs to send thugs and assassins after you.
