So I recently read with great joy that Bioshock Infinite is going to include the original Bioshock on PS3 versions. Will Australia also get the free copy?

I'd assume it wouldn't unless there was a specific deal happening in your local game stores

old huh? new doesn't always mean better, is mw3 better than cod4? is pokemon [insert latest here] better than pokemon blur/red/gold/silver? is final fantasy 13 better than final fantasy 7? NO. system shock 2 has waaay more to offer the player than bioshock. besides 1999 is not exactly old. they had to sell out with bioshock and make it simple so a wider audience can handle it, and therefore buy it. very few know the truth! the truth that it is actually called Biosvck!

sigh...NO! its a good game but not the greatest fps of all time. besides its not just a first person shooter its a firstperson shooter roleplaying immersive sim. but all those parts of it are weak, even the FPS part.

MW3 is better than CoD4, but I prefer the classic arcade FPS style of CoD4.
P:Black&White are better than P:Red&Blue, because they offer a wider range of Pokemon but they do lack the originalness of Red&Blue and that spark that keeps me saying Red&Blue are my favourite.

That's what I said basically, MW3 is the better game, it's newer with more features, more maps, SpecOps, Survival mode and the other modes for oline. While all CoD4 has is private matches and Mike Myers with the classic arcade FPS

not sure if serious? i cant be bothered to explain right now cos it will be a big post and im hungry. but the design and execution of the game is nothing compared to the old ones, once again thats not even opinion. its better engineering. like steam engine vs fuel engine.

Was being completely serious, I like it and don't find anything bad about, so tell me what you think is bad about it compared to the old ones, since I haven't played them.
a few hours on FF7 as a child is all I have and about 30 mins of Advent Children - even though I sat through the full thing.

OT: I still can't find anything on an Australian release of Bioshock with Bioshock Infinite.

Was being completely serious, I like it and don't find anything bad about, so tell me what you think is bad about it compared to the old ones, since I haven't played them.
a few hours on FF7 as a child is all I have and about 30 mins of Advent Children - even though I sat through the full thing.

ok im going to cook some food and then ill try my best to answer that when i get back. i didnt like advent children though it has the same girly men in it like 13. (in the older final fantasies there was NO girly men at all, except irvine in 8 and that annoying little [censored] tidus in 10) but anyway thats not why 13 is bad. back in 10mins.

It's called Columbia, IIRC, and it has nothing to do with the previous titles which were set in Rapture (the underwater utopia), which is quite a shame because I would have looked foward to going back to Rapture since there is still lots to explore and things that could be done.

and btw bioshock IS system shock, from gameplay to even some plot. made by the same people minus some looking glass staff. its just been stripped down in many areas so it would sell.

I've been hearing a lot about it, but i haven't been able to locate a copy anywhere. And it propably would require some wizrdry to run on 64bit Windows 7.

On topic, i really liked Bioshock, haven't finish Bioshock 2, and haven't heard anything about Infinite, except that it happens in a floating city? If so, i'll buy it for that setting alone :hehe:

Bioshock and SystemShock aren't the same though, Bioshock is the spiritual successor of SystemShock, which means the do not tie in at all.

that means bioshock infinite is the spiritual successor to bio1, because they do not tie in at all either.

final fantasy13- the game is basically one HUGE linear corridoor. no optional content like side quests, exploration and secret areas. the battle system is simple compared to the old games, no more attributes like strength intelligence luck etc, customization is simpler, story is pathetic. now the facts are out of the way i throw in opinions- leona lewis, no more nobou uematsu, characters are uninteresting. i hate it more than batmanAC!

No it still retains the same name. It is the sucessor of Bioshock 2 but isn't a direct sequel (i.e. Bioshock 3) instead it would be called a spin-off.
Like Fallout New Vegas isn't Fallout 4 or a direct sequel to the events of Fallout 3, therefore it is a spin off.

the name and general design of the game is the only tie ins. but the whole series is a pathetic spin off of system shock series anyway.
