operative is the one that has the tear gas, just take a look at this picture ( on the right) it is showing a device similar to the iPhone, and 2 grenades. The black one looks like its the tear gas.

would only work a once or twice per team... but I bet bots would fall for it a lot

I bet not if the AI is anything like UT3 they will shoot you with bullets until you look like Swiss cheese

Well it seems now the operatives can blow themselves up when they are in last stand. Nice surprise when an enemy operative attempts to interrogate you.

You say that like it's a bad thing.

Anything is bad when it can and is abused. Abused being the operative word. lolpun *ahem* Although if they balance everything like they should, which they appear to be doing, then it should be hard to abuse anything.

Vigilance, ye non-Operatives, vigilance! :stare:

I still want you on my team Wraith. You've succeeded in making me paranoid about getting stabbed in the back months before release. Kudos. I offer you this congratulatory metal cookie. Ignore the beeping and the flashing red light. :frog:

I must admit though that without Operatives Brink might be a little bit too direct. It's good to get some spies in there so that you can't feel too safe, even on your own side of the map.

Well unless I find a way to backstab you through the internet you will be playing safely on the PS3.

As far as directness it comes down to the player. You can be sneaky or you can try and an emulate a commando knife and get owner by anyone with a bigger gun.

Oh right, you're not on PS3. In that case that "I" should be "I'd" instead, as in "I'd still want you on my team Wraith." :disguise:

One thing I do want to know is this: If you can kill somone with two regular melee attacks, one to knock them down and one more for the finish, then what makes using a knife better? Knife stabs are only one hit kills on unbuffed lights, but they take just as many hits to kill everyone else as a regular gun butt. Is stabbing faster than gun butting? Does it have a longer reach? (if so, please not by much)

Perhaps penetration on the soldier kevlar armor?

Not sure if knife attack knocks down but it is faster and does more damage last time I heard. As for reach no idea. I would prolly slide tackle first then knife then coup de grace.
