Hi Boris, I've got a question about adding vendor and device ID to the .ini. If done right, does this list the graphics card as the graphics adapter in the launcher, or is it supposed to remain ENB? When I enter my numbers as 00009460 and 00001002 on the DeviceID and VendorID lines, the launcher doesn't list my card. Just wondering how that's supposed to work.

Under what situations should I be setting these values to true?

IgnoreThreadManagement=
IgnoreThreadPriority=

They're set to false by default, which I would assume means there's some kind of downside to enabling them.

If you have a multi-core system, especially Tri or Quad Core.

Legend Boris. For the first time since that dreaded date of 11-11-11 I can play Skyrim.
Anyone having Black Screen of Death problems, give this patch a try.

Great fix thanks to Boris. I was having missing graphic effects on flames, frost, cobwebs and this unofficial patch was the only thing that fixed it on my Radeon HD3850. It's sad this stuff never shows up in the official patches.

For awhile, this fixed the invisible fire, webs, etc. Sometime after updating to patch 9, I started seeing it happen again with increasing frequency. Downgrading to previous versions (back to v6) does not help. What could be the problem?

I have an ATI Radeon HD 3850, with drivers updated to the most current version.

So it seems the issue I've been having is due to updating the 4GB Skyrim patch to version 1.5, which changes the called .exe from TESV.exe.4gb to TESV.exe, or something like that. This apparently had the effect of causing the ENBSeries patch not to load anymore. Once I downgraded the 4GB Skyrim patch to version 1.4, all was well again.

So now I know. Several people have informed me that by simply placing the ENBSeries .dll in the ./exes folder that the 4GB Skyrim patch (v1.5) creates, it solves the problem. I've confirmed this myself.

I had a look at this patch and the website, readme and ini files don't explain what each option in the ini file actually does.

Franpa:
You don't need to know what all of these parameters for, just install with original enbpatch.ini file.

4GB users:
I heard placement of d3d9.dll in to "exes" folder allow to work.
