Skyrim is really boring now.

The OP has every right to post his comments and why not big red letters?
If that's so terrible then obviously Beth need new forum software that prevents posters from using large red letters to please SOME of the members.

He does have that right.

Are you saying people don't have the right to poke a bit of fun at him for the silliness of it? And it is silly,. Such over the top theatrics.

70 hours is an enormous amount of time to spend playing a game - does anyone really think you have to play for 1000s of hours before you are allowed to say the if the game is boring for you?
All the posters here objecting to the original post are the ones that should think twice before they comment and ask why they read negative posts in the first place.
You can disagree but no need to insult the OP

No, as I say above. But playing for 70 hours, then going to make a silly over the top post about how bored you are now after playing for 70 hours just smacks of... I don't know.

Lord know every game forum needs lots of threads of "I played for 40 hours and now I'm bored" or "I played for 200 hours now I'm bored" in order to motivate games designers to develop those everlasting gob stopper games we can play for months and months and months and never get bored with.

..and in future readers ONLY post wonderful uplifting comments of adulation about Skyrim and go away if you have a complaint.

Hhahahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhaha *breath* hahahahahahhahahahahaha etc

Have you been around this forum? If so you should no people with complaints - both valid and vapid - freely post. There is no shortage of threads about gripes.

You may want to try starting up a new character who is completely different from the first one. Maybe increase your difficulty level as well.
I was just about to say this. A different race, style, and limit yourself so you can experience the game your way. I intentionally walk from one end of Skyrim to the other so it extends my playtime and appreciation of the province.
I understand if you did happen to speed through the game and finish the main quests early....
None of the quests are interesting enough to repeat, and none of the characters have enough depth to talk to again.
...which is why it's best to take your time and take the main factions and questline in little pieces after hours of sidequesting. Now that it seems you've done this, I'm not sure what else you can do that's different other than explore and see what you can find. Who knows, you might discover something.

I'm a little over 80 hrs in @ level 15. How anyone can be bored with SKyRiM one month after release is beyond me. Actually, it's downright ludicrous & ridiculous. I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of this monumental work of art!

(And yes I realize the irony in me posting that.)

"Dude, this book I just bought is [censored], its missing the last 300 pages......."
"Yeah but dont worry, its a 1000 pages book so you got a good 700 out of it, thats more then most pocket formats will offer you!"

Terribad argument is terribad.
Your makeshift anology doesn't make any sense. And Skyrim is not about a single story like a book is. So your point is nil.

Roll a new character bro, or RP? You are aware that this is an rpg, and you gotta use your imagination to create the fun? Atleast that's what i do.

Jeez just because you have the best armor doesn't mean you need to wear it. I put mine in a chest and started wearing lighter weaker armor. If I get my ass kicked I might go back and put it on, but usually I'll just try to change my tactics a bit instead of that. Tons of quests. I'm already 210 hours in and still loving it.

The fact that you'll find almost every time something interesting in Skyrim after you thought you've seen it all and are started to get bored amazes me. The variation in dungeons is really the key here to keep you entertained.

I've put in over 450+ hours on ONE character. I never make others, I am now level 75, and barely running out of things to do, albeit there isn't much to do at this point in the game other than finish leveling and capping my level.
Not even bored.

The game has been out 39 days, 936 hours. If you have really played 450+ hours, you need help. Considering on average people spend ~30% of the day sleeping, that means ~655 hours of 'awake time', in which you have played 450 hours of skyrim.

Epic post bobjim123! :goodjob: The poor guy obviously doesn't have any girlfriend when he plays it 12 hours a day for the last 39 days.

I have to admit that I have similar feelings like the opener of the thread. After finishing the main quest + most of interesting side quests , the civil war, becoming leader off all gilds and with upgraded dragon armor + deadric sword the game has lost most of its magic.
At first it was "wow" especially the dragons but now the game feels worn out and, in contrast to other games, somehow I don't have the demand to create another char.

But regardless that you have to say that there is much more content than in most other up to date games and I don't feel that I wasted my money like f.e. in the case of DA2.

I hope for good user mods and conversions with the upcoming toolkit, something like Nehrim in Oblivion.

I agree with the OP. I'm right at 70 hours with a level 33 character myself and the incentive to continue playing just isn't there. As an RPG, Skyrim really falls flat, especially in comparison to most of its predecessors (that being excluded is Arena). The game has no reputation system, so inherently no reverberations from one's actions and path in the gameworld, very few choices and even less consequence, the factions are few, incredibly short, and pitiful, the character customization is rather basic, and the only remaining part of Skyrim that's really much of an RPG mechanic, its basic character progression system, kind of levels off by the point I and the OP are at.

Quests are repetitive, often uninteresting, and do not yield outcomes or consequences (getting back to Skyrim's lack of choice, consequence, and reputation). Dungeons are rather predictable and lack any actual hand-placed loot, creature variety, type variety, puzzle variety, etc. to make them worth it. The factions are lacking, obviously rushed or "streamlined" incoherent garbage, and without any effect on anything around you, and the halting of leveling and general character progression in this simple, option-lacking system pretty much nails the lid on the coffin. Skyrim has been tried, it's been tested, and it's been found lacking, in my opinion. It's a good game... just a pathetic RPG and subsequently a lackluster follow-up to its predecessors.

Wow, this must be a bus stop for trolls!

I thought the point of the game was to experience the content, not to gain all of the levels and become uber.

Skyrim has a little something for everybody - even those who can't start the game unless they have the best armour.

The sheer size of the gameworld leaves thousands of acres of untouched land for modders. Within a year there will be so many diverse things to do, in completely different ways then the developers imagined, that it'll be hard to imagine how anyone will be able to use the word boring about the game - unless the poor fellow only has a 360 to play it with - then I imagine boredom sets in faster.
