Skyrim is really boring now.

Post » Tue Jun 05, 2012 1:46 am

Skyrim was a load of fun when I first got it, I'm now 70 hours in. With Dragon Armour and about 50k gold, and there really isn't much to do anymore. I have the best weapons, and the best armour and there really seems to be no point to carry on.

Anyone else feel the same way?

Sounds like you bought the wrong game. Getting my equipment sorted is only the beginning of my adventure. Most of the fun lies in exploration/quests.

You may want to try starting up a new character who is completely different from the first one. Maybe increase your difficulty level as well.

I'm still playing like I got it yesterday. I still start new RP characters, this is by far the greatest game I have ever played.

I'm level 10, still with fur, hide and some leather armor. Not even joined a guild at the moment, but I plan to join thieves, DB and maybe legion when i`m "retired" from the other two. I have played 24 hours and I have bought the game 12-12-11, so it's 8 days of playing Skyrim and I haven't even beat the 5% of the game, just doing some minor side quests, exploring, reading books, choping wood, and some dungeons till I join said guilds. I haven't touch the main quest yet. The game's still fun and awesome.

Why do people come to the forums to tell us when they're done with a game? Just like any other game, it gets boring after awhile. You will come back to it sooner or later though.

Been playing 70+ hours, still haven't even reached level 30. Skills have a long way to go, and have only scratched the surface of my missions (both side quests, main quests, and general exploring). Still tons to do, and a lot of undiscovered locations.

I've played for almost 300 hours. Anyway, 70 hours is way more than the average game nowadays.

I am having the time of my life still. Exploring, adventuring, cave dwelling. The last one was a sore point until I discovered the good ones! Also, variety and breaks keep Skyrim fresh!

I am the same, 68 hours in and am lvl 28.

I agree with you. None of the quests are interesting enough to repeat, and none of the characters have enough depth to talk to again.

Some people can "role play," and I respect that. I just want more direction in my games, something that I can care about. Skyrim doesn't give me that

Made several playthroughs all the way to level 80, stopping to wait for ck, combat isn't quite as fun sustaining as it should be. Even when resorting to self gimping.

I guess if the only thing that matters to you is having the best armor and weapon you are done.

In those many hours you could not have followed many quest lines. I am at 170 houea, have only done about half the main quest line and every day is a whole new adventure.

If you're primary interest in an RPG is gearing up, then I have to say that you'll be better off playing some sort of MMO.

Nevertheless, it is a part of the charm of TES games as well, and I agree that with the right skills you can gain access to the best items a bit too quickly. Unfortunately, the only way to remedy this situation is to not level those skills.

Cool. My play style tends to be more laid back and I could go an evening without venturing too far. Also helps keep interest with a second character handy for trying something new.

But hey, if I get tired of a game. I put it down, do something else, and I know it's there for me if/when I decide to play again.

If you have Dragon armor then you don't have the best if playing heavy. With all the Daedric weapons as side quests alone there is more than enough to do in the game. If you are bored with it.... then don't play it. problem solved. But I promise you that there is a ton more you can do.. it Is just a matter of if you want to.

Yes, its true that the quests are still the same quests with different characters. I understand what the op is trying to say. If you are bored, I would HIGHLY recommend playing in the style of dead is dead. Randomly create a new character and just have fun with him/her exploring and yes, doing the same quests. This time however, I think you will approach things differently because if your character dies, they die and get deleted. It does change how the game feels and it is more exciting.

broll cory sto

In all seriousness TES are what you make them, you create your world and you made it boring. There are plenty of adventures still waiting for me I'm level 39 on one character that has played about 110 hours and another that is level 15 with 40 hours. So thanks for tell us about your experience but you probably aren't going to get much sympathy from me.
