I have a damn good question here, why doesn't Bethesda make a deal with Sony to release the Creation Kit on the PS3 and make Skyrim Modable on the PS3? As far as I know, Unreal Tournament 3 for PS3 allowed Mods and it worked out just fine.

The PS3 can't handle the vanilla version of Skyrim. I don't think mods would help anything. Unless people were gonna make lower res textures and remove stuff.

The whole idea of a potion, and the main balancing factor behind it, is the fact that it is a limited resource. Using it gives you a benefit, but it destroys the potion, which means you have to always consider when to use it. Furthermore potions that increase your combat performace last only a limited time making them an important part of the combat strategy.

When you create potions that are used outside of combat, the entire balance is gone - when to use a smithing potion? DURP just before you smith something. How long does it last? DURP irrelevant, drink, smith, go on your way.

Seriously, what is the point? It only creates balance issues.

Plus the idea of drinking a juice which makes you a better smith is just stupid.

how does an archery bonus potion make more sense than an blacksmithing or pickpocket potion?
The only exploit part is that an blacksmithing potion gives you better gear who can be used forever.

I think they removed way to much fun stuff, look at all the cool things we have lost since Morrowind, fortify jump 500 + slowfall 30 seconds, is the coolest spell I have made, insanely fun to use, nothing beat jumping from the dock outside Vivec towards the city and overshooting it.

Now not only fortify jumping and slowfall is gone but also spell making :(

Maybe the DLC will fix the issues presented in the ps3. I am a console gamer and I can tell you that it is starting to affect me. I heard rumors that mods may be available or consoles?

You need a PC to use player-made mods. Sorry.

 i cant use duel wielding because it makes the game to easy even on master level. even with only a couple of perks in it it becomes overpowerd. they leave ingots all over the dungeons and they have various mines that you can mine ore from. just by using what i find on my adventures i always end up with enchanting and smithing nearly if not entirely maxed out by the time im level 30. i laugh at people like you that say im supposed to deliberately ignore all ingots and ore i find and not use enchanting or smithing. if bows were made OP in the next patch your brilliant idea would be to simply not use archery. balance is important in any game. almost every RTS has a super unit when they are first released. if we took your advice the developer would just tell their customers to ''not use that unit in future games" thankfully they usually ignore crappy advice like that and at least try and make balance changes.

I think they should balance the underpowered skills, not the crafting ones. If you take crafting naturally then you won't be OP, it's only when we, as users, exploit crafting that it becomes OP.

really happy with the game so far and havent noticed any bugs. They could be minor bugs that slipped my attention but other than that I will be happy with whatever they put out.

This, it's way more critical bugs in the game, secondly it's many known quest bugs who are easy to run into but also easy to fix.
