Proof that the thesis of human satisfaction being unobtainable is true.
I remember in Oblivion that people were complaining about how the acrobatic skill was unrealistic and that jumping like you're on the moon is unrealistic...which it is. Oh and not to mention that you level up by jumping. FYI: No matter how good at parkour or acrobatics you are, you can't jump that high just by jumping. You have to have some kind of momentum and extra force.
Even if you can, it doesn't add anything to gameplay other than stupidity. You can bypass massive sections of dungeons that are FUN. You can use acrobatics and take short cuts that don't matter anyways because of the sprinting function in Skyrim.
Oh and remember how Skyrim doesn't discriminate between major and minor skills. You level up no matter what skill you level. Just jump for three hours and bam, you've level 100ed an entire skill, got a bunch of perks, and leveled up.
satisfaction in skyrim can be made much more obtainable with OPTIONAL choices.
realism in video games is an unworthy debate.
your opinions against acrobatics: optional.
skyrim game mechanics: much room for improvement.
