Does anyone that bought it on release still play Skyrim?

its an amazing game without any form of mod
I agree with this. Skyrim is extremely enjoyable in its pure, unmodded, vanilla state. I've had the game for six months now and use very few mods. And even those mods make no drastic changes to the game.

I compare this to Oblivion, which I could not play for three days without modding out certain features. Even with mods I could not play it for more than three weeks. I like Oblivion, but Ilove Skyrim.

Due to the insane amount of damage most enemies deal (a bandit chief with a two handed weapons does more damage than any dragon even on the easiest setting) ive not been confident enough in my character or their equipment to go any further than the free roaming you do after the Greybeards summon you.

They called...I bought the house in Whiterun...and ive been training/exploring ever since.

Then other games came out and ive been too busy with them to go back to Sykrim.

Blame me all you want (if it helps you avoid the heartbreaking truth that Skyrim aint all that you hoped) but this never happened with any of the other TES games!

This is the first ive just "wandered off" from.

Fixable?

I dont know!

Most of the problems are rooted in the very core of the design...not simple tweaks!

You'd have to overhaul the entire center of the game and with all the yes-men theyre counting (and all the dissent theyre ignoring) making it look like god in game form theyre not going to put in such effort for so little return.

So there we are!

I stopped playing back in February. It's a damn shame really that a SUPPOSED TES RPG has so little replay value.

Well, sincerely i was expecting something like "i don't play it anymore from february because i don't like the way Todd Howard lead the series"

oh,no no,wait..that its already in your signature  :bunny:

However, you can always look at the positive side ; Skyrim isn't even a real Rpg (supposed to be - from who ? ) its an action/adventure game with some rpg element- and - most of all - you've not "invested" (or wasted in your case  ) hundreds of hours of your time like many of us playin' the game until now,so you can just skip directly to the Dlcs in the future to "refresh" the experience :bunny:
