I'll try out the heavy body type but i doubt ill like it seeing as it can't really use SMART and it's slow, Qualities that i don't appreciate in an avatar!

To clarify i don't feel that any body type is useless, it's just not for me!

I'm not gonna vote because they all seem useful, but I probably won't use heavy. I like to pick speed over power so I'll be a light.

Um, did not vote.

All of the body types are useful. Just because I may not be good at one or the other doesn't make that body type useless!

The only problem I would have with the Heavies is that one of the features of Brink is the SMART system and Heavies cannot take advantage of that. This is a preference thing, though. It does not make the Heavies worthless/useless to the other body types.

Each body type has its advantages and disadvantages. One is NOT better than the other.

And that is that. B)

Lights are great for getting in and getting out like get in, revive, get out. Heavies are great for busting through enemy lines. If I had to choose between the 3, I'd say Mediums. They arent near as fast or agile as lights, and can't take as much damage or give out damage like Heavies. They're just there......

It's a good thing ItalianDevil came back from the future to tell us all about the game. Otherwise we'd have to play it and see for ourselves rather than just take his word for it.

Best soldiers will be heavies... I'm banking on the game to be balanced with sizes, from what I can see the heavies are gonna kick ass.

The way i see it is that its all situational. If i'm playing defense, heavy will be more useful to me than light no matter how good you are at "ninja flanking the enemy from behind and no one knows you're there so you kill the entire enemy". With the way that the radar in the game works if just one person on their team looks in your direction, you appear on the minimap. Plus, being able to take that little more damage can make all the difference in a fire fight, especially since i play with a high sensitivity usualy (i dont know if you can change that in Brink, but i'm guessing you can please correct me if im wrong) so i can track light people sprinting around.(note: thats another thing that i find weird, when people write these one on one light vs heavy stories, they do know that you cant sprint and shoot at the same time and that their regular speed is not lightning fast right? that being said though if the light is better at aiming than he can win if he just unloads into the heavies head) On offense however, i would see a medium being useful, but a heavy would also be good to defend someone while they are planting the bomb or protecting the bomb after its been planted

I see things quite differently then.

I myself think they are all useful in their own sense and that it is good for different play styles.

There is bodytypes and classes, you seem to be talking about bodytypes not classes.

It's hard to balance bodytypes, to me it's just diffrent playstyle with diffrent strength and weaknesses.

This.

Light will probably be the body type I use the least by far. Sure moving around fast makes you somewhat harder to hit, but you will get hit. Also I seriously doubt you'll be able to shoot effectively, or even at all, while sprinting/SMARTing. When it comes down to an actual fire fight, the light is toast.

I guess it's useful if you simply plan to run away and/or ambush but that's not something I really have interest in. Plus with the time-to-kill in this game being long, ambushing wont be nearly as effective, at least in light vs. medium/heavy body type situations.

i believe that medium is the least because of the fact they have medium health and arnt as fast and cant manuver as fast as as the light and cant take as much damage as the heavy i know that the light takes more damage than medium but its more useful for the fact that they move faster and can get to the destination b4 any other character in the game thats my opinion

I seem to remember hearing something about a self-revive with a long cooldown, but I can't remember where so take it with a grain of salt.

I have seen this, and I have also heard that unlike healing teammates, you get no XP for healing and reviving yourself.
