X3. Ah. Yes. How is that game?

From what I've heard it's pretty good, but I also heard it got a rather steep learning curve. Is it worth it?

I think so. But apart from having a steep learning curve, it also takes a long time to do anything in the game. It's very satisfactory to see how things progress, though. Like starting with nothing, and ending up owning and controlling several sectors, or controlling a fleet of crafts, fighting against stuff, earning bounties and selling abandoned ships and equipment.

EDIT:
@Bad Man Jim:
I've only barely tried MGS4, but as far as the core gameplay goes, it's the best in the series IMO. But the storyline has always been the meat of the MGS games, and I don't know much about that. I do recommend playing the previous games in the series first, since there's a very convoluted story to the series.
