Yes, but considering that we have never seen Khajiiti glyphs or architecture, compared to Akaviri ones Akavir wins hands down as "Asia" representation (Asia as in the Eastern Asia, as that's what will come to mind when people mention "Asia")

Besides, Asia is not only China: Asia encompasses South East Asia (which, in ancient times and traditionally, look kinda like Forsworn), Middle East Asia (which is Arabians, and as such, Redguards) and part of Russia (which could be Nords, depending on how you think) too. Not to mention the other races such as Mongols and Philippinos.

As such, depending on how you think about it, 3 human races in Skyrim are already Asian. Or not.

So ... Reguards are North Africans, the Akavir are Asians, and the Khajiit are Indians/Arabians. Makes sense.

All the races in TES games have some variation with their skin color. Besides, Redguards are Redguards, not Africans. Their culture is much more inspired by the Middle-East than, say Western Africa. Hammerfell (generally) doesn't have temples, they have mosques, etc.

Mosques only came with Islam. That wasn't until way passed 1000ad in many countries. Prior to that they all had temples. Have you ever seen pictures of North Africa? It looks exactly like Middle Eastern culture. The two are greatly interlinked.

We were talking about the appearance of the Redguard ranging from lighter Arabian / Mediterranean to black African and I mentioned the fact it is centred on a massive desert which to me is like the Sahara desert which also happens to have people ranging from black African to lighter Arabian / Mediterranean looking people living around it.

Tell me, where in the lore does it say Redguards are black? If you're going to accuse Beth of inconsistencies at least know what you're talking about.

I think Imperials have often been just as dark btw. But it's just more mediterranean. Senna (the priestess of Dibella) almost looks like a Redguard, but apparently, she's Imperial.

I haven't seen any Light Skinned Redguards nor is it possible to have one without mods.

Yeah, if you create one, the lighest they go is kind of dark olive. Not close to caucasian.

The OP (I think?) does have a funny point about dark skinned Nords though. I wonder what the deal is with Vignar Grey-Mane. That, coupled with his cowboy accent cracks me up. He reminds me more of an old Indian (Native American) or something.
