Skyrim : I'll see you in Feburary.

don’t understand this reliance on mods,
never used them for oblivion, might try a couple with skyrim, but not really, I am happy with this game, could it be better, sure, but I don’t understand this whole mods will make this game perfect mentally (ps. I am playing on the PC)

Don't understand this reliance on meat, seasoning and flavor.
Never used them for my sandwiches, always just enjoyed the bread.

I was very curious about whether you were playing skyrim from December to February. I'm really glad you made this post an cleared that up for me. I am a journalist and I plan to run this story in tomorrow's paper. Can you also let me know which game you will play in the meantime? And why it's better than skyrim? I appreciate it.

Not really. The true potential of this game comes out with the modders, not out of the box.

Sorry mate I played modded morrowind and oblivion and it gets boring fast. What mods could there possibly be well the same mods as before. New face re textures unlockable this and that... blah you obviously didn't like the game and with modding it wont get better its all the same crap.

If you think retextures are what the modding scene is all about then you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The Oblivion I played was nearly unrecognizable compared to the game Bethesda released, thanks to amazing gameplay overhauls like Deadly Reflex and Francesco's Overhaul.

Its all the same crap! Overhaul this and that. Its the same gameplay believe it or not. Anyway at least I contributed to Bethesda unlike all you PC gamers who downloaded the game from a torrent site.

Haha OK man, whatever helps you sleep at night. Just so you know, most of Skyrim's combat changes were inspired by Deadly Reflex, and one of the devs admitted that they had taken a "very close look" at that mod.

Love reading these comments, considering some of the changes with each Bethesda series comes straight from modders.

-Being able to peer thru the view point of your gun in New Vegas? That's right straight from ironsights mod from Fallout 3
-Harvest plants actually change shape when harvested in Skyrim? That's right straight from harvest mod from Oblivion

List goes on and on....

It's just amazing how far console users will bend backwards to rationalize playing without mods.

Same here. I just beat the main quest line and a few of the guilds in at 120 hours. I'm gonna put skyrim down sadly until there are more patches or mods.

You know, it's a scary thing. I've been on the internet long enough to detect pretty strong sarcasm through text, but this is a real enigma to me with the way I've seen this forum go lately.

I think I need to lay down.

This isn't WoW, you don't quit playing skyrim. You just mod it.

I sense the PC master race at work here! The true face of the Thalmor!

Honestly, I enjoy this game. Mods are for when my experience has truly run dry.

I loved modding Morrowind, but too many 'flavors' of mods and I would dilute the experience, or the game would crash... its a tenuous balance.

Basically, what the hell is wrong with vanilla flavor?

I agree with the OP 100%

It's like every time Beth releases a game its nothing more then a rough framework for what could be a FAR better game.

I've played it a little, seen all the annoying bugs and frustrating mechanics.

Let the modders fix this one as well.
