considering the rarity of ammo mini nukes should do *atleast* 1000 dge/larger aoe/tbh i used my first mini nuke in the death claw promontory and i felt ripped in half lol/like 10 mini nukes in game?/sorta failureific they even considered nerfing them/kinda goes against logic atleast game wise

I had 10 luck, finesse and 1st Recon beret and would get 100% crits with the regular sniper?
So you have to sacrafice other things to make it as good? Do you realize your proving the other persons point?

By the time your lvl 20 if you don't have over 100,000 caps (or at least enough to maintain a steady and practically infinite supply of ammo) your playing this game wrong.
At lvl 30 Im using Max-Charge MF cells on my YCS unique Gauss rifle. This is probably the most expensive possible set up due to ammo and the need to constantly repair but I find it easily manageable so to be honest money really shouldn't be an issue in this game.

Now what gun REALLY blows is the scoped hunting revolver. Not only is the ammo for it exceedingly rare (not expensive but ballz to wall difficult to find) but its FAR outclassed by the Brush Gun and the Ranger sequoia.

The only thing thats wrong here is you telling other people they are playing the game wrong.

The Recharger Rifle and Pistol svck, I still haven't found MF Breeder cells for them in the entire Wasteland after 4 files.

I was puzzled by that at first too, until I equipped it just to get a look at it and somehow accidentally hit the fire button and to my surprise actually fired a shot. To sum it up, there isn't MF Breeder cells, the gun doesn't run on ammo, it recharges itself. But that being said it is still a pretty svcky gun, it doesn't do that much damage and the time it takes to recharge isn't worth not having to use ammo.

.22 SP and SMG, you'd be better off peeing on your foes. Feel the justice of my irradiated urine stream!
They are handy with Jury Rig for repairing more valuable weapons though. I'd put these two below the BB gun in usefulness and value. The .22 SP should have been a .32 or 9mm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welrod.

While the Rolling Pin may be a pretty craptacular weapon, the lulz from beating things to death with a Rolling Pin makes up for it.

The .357 is pretty bad too, though not quite so bad as the .22's.

Neither of the recharger weapons are very good, mostly because they're so hard to effectively aim (IS).

Unmodded, most of the explosives are pretty lackluster.

I didn't like any of the thrown stuff, but that's more preference than anything, not my cup 'o tea.

I think I'll go with the Fat Man, because there are things which can survive it now when clearly there should not be.

This.

It also does 1/10 the damage of the Fat Man in FO3 and barely twice the damage of a 40mm grenade. Most heavy energy weapons do much more damage at greater range, when using OC or MC energy packs and the proper Perks.

Throwing Knife. You can't pick it back up after you throw it, and I've only ever found ONE.
