There is a CHANGE in visuals.

Also even though this video is really lame, I am showing you that there was never any food on the table in dragons reach. This is a video from the PC version.

I've just bought a 46' Samsung LCD at 60hz and have played before the patch and after. I've even deleted the patch and re-installed to see any difference at all and The result was the same, the game still looks wonderful and the same before and after.

On 360 here and haven't noticed anything being removed (yet) except for the horrible textures that are broken throughout the entire game but if they did remove anything on any console that would be ridiculous. :sadvaultboy:

OP, you are not fooling yourself. The shadows have been dumbed down. Textures have also been dumbed down just look at the steward of Windhelm for proof. It is truly shameful just how badly Skyrim was ported to the PS3, and this latest patch just makes it all the more apparent. One thing is for certain, I will never purchase a Bethesda product for the playstation 3 again. Ever.

Edit: In regards to textures, it seems with the patch certain characters and or objects randomly fail to load their appropriate textures. After visiting Windhelm later today I found the steward looking normal.

That's probably the briefest and most accurate description on one of the problem I'm having after the patch( other the the grass draw distance) :celebration:

The shadows are the same as before the patch. You have maybe some hallucination.

If you don't have problem with the game's graphics after the patch, good for you, stop posting here and go play the game. That's what i did when i got Skyrim, playing the game non-stop and having no time to post in forum .. until patch 1.2 screws up the shadows and draw distance. This subforum is for people with technical issues with the game. I personally have no problem with the texture looking little different but the blocky jittery/flickering shadows and draw distance is the real deal breaker for me. Tried 1.0 again and it looks great. I'm going to try out camplex74's method here: http://www.gamesas.com/index.php?/topic/1295797-texture-comparison-after-12-patch/page__view__findpost__p__19559843 to see if it works.

Flickering shadows were in the 1.1 version too. Look the end of the video. You will see a stanting man there witch flickering shaodws. And the draw distacne is the same as before. Mass paralysis rulez :)
