There is a CHANGE in visuals.

Or you can use a capture card set up like Zidane already did: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t11-p8fq-CY

I read the "no graphics changed" statement, but I started the patch off in a dungeon and thought how nice and more vivid the lighting looked (I didn't know what the patch had changed at that point)but this may have been the slight improvement in the constant fps allowing me to appreciate them more? I also think the general clarity is better but this maybe the benefit of having a better fps

But it does still need further fps / stutter optimization.

One problem Zidanes capture card is 480p or lower, also most capture devices will lower the quality of the graphics being displayed on screen. So again the details will be lost.
Zidane, are you using roxio game capture?

Centrafell, yes everything seems to have lost the darkness it once had, the brightest brights are darker and the darkest darks are brighter. Overall the contrast range has also been decreased.

Fact: Evidence can help substantiate a claim.

As of yet, I haven't seen any reliable before/after screenshot comparisons, just some low-res videos.

How about someone grab a screenshot capturing device (surely someone here has one?) and put this topic to rest, FFS.

Explanation on how screenshots should look:

The OP clearly just doesn't know the difference between fact and opinion. Probably just a kid.

No one has the quality equipment to capture, and the variables of viewing are also different. I shoot with a 3000,00 camera and a 1200.00 lens. You would have to shoot with a tripod and before and after the patch. Also you would have to shoot with a high def movie camera for the mist, snow, rain... Then there would be a question of what the people were viewing it on. There is a difference very slight if it makes the game run better thats the cost to absorb.
Im not getting into the strange stuff like killing an ice wraith and having the snow pile stuck in the air 10 ft over youre head so you cant collect the reward, and coming back time after time to see it still hanging there out of reach... multiple instances... now those are what kills a game, if there are many instances or many more types to come in the future to sum up after a 100 hour mark. If you look at the start and what you get, you have to think of the economics to fix it all.. how many patches can there be? Or will they patch as the majority moves forward to different parts of the game. How many patches do you implement before you say, " we have done due diligence in the eyes of the law and its time to focus our resources on the next project."The quest glitches and other problems might be harder to overcome. This is the real measure of the "finished" quality of the game. Stay tuned, Beth can still pull it off if they want the game to keep selling past the 3 month mark. If its not fixed in time , then you can pass judgement and say to yourself,"they got me and my $$$ ." Or I bought a lemon and my trade in value is 'Nill".
Im liking the game so far, not too many bugs for me yet. I cant find my Lydia and if she was killed I couldent find her body. I went back looking for her after killing the mamoth and the giant, I think she survived the giant but I lost after dealing with the mamoth. On a previous giant I saw her launched on the 100 ft fly twice and she still came back while I was bowhunting the giant. If she survived why can't I ?Alas my Lydia is gone forever and Im not going back in time to get her :)

No, not everyone has a capture device... but I bet most people at least have a digital camera. There are other ways to provide a visual on the problems you are experiencing.

To the rest of your post... what?

Why do you worry about visuals? If you care about the visuals go buy yourself a gaming computer. I'm pretty shure complaining about the matter won't do anything. Skyrim is a hardware hungry video game that mainly was made for 2010-11 hardware not 2005-2006. It's really amazing these consoles can even perform these tasks. You need to be satisfied with what you got. Or you may be overeacting or something and no graphical changes were made.

ES Out

why do you think Skyrims visuals are something special on console? in fact there are more beutiful games out there with better visuals then Skyrim, and since all major AAA games are consoles games and then ported to pc, the only advantage u have on your expensive machine is better textures...which aint a gamebreaker.

Thread title should be changed. This ISN'T A FACT. The game looks EXACTLY the same as it did before the patch... Quit nitpicking.

Yeah, the shadows are definitely worse. Granted they weren't the best to begin with, but the building shadows were not that bad, now they're just...weird.

This. So much. For two days now people have been whining about how the graphics are so bad after the patch, and yet still not one single shred of evidence to back that up. Except that video on Youtube that just does a spectacular job of showing how the game looks different in different lighting.

So let's have some pics people, prove the game actually looks worse.

No. I don't care for it, but it seems the shadows are acting weird for me. They disappear and then fix themselves when I get a little closer. They didn't do that before, but like I said, it doesn't matter.

In all of these threads... no one is showing us anything. If you do not care, then why post in the first place? It makes no sense to come into a topic, that is lacking documentation, agree with it... then turn around and say you do not care when a screenshot is requested.

If it was the graphics that caused the lag then all our games would have lagged from the start. The PS3 ain't a PC with the graphics set too high, holy mother [censored] [censored] lol

Kind of? Well that's a universal affirmative catagorical proposition if ever I've seen one....

Get on an average PC, I have one next to me, and put the settings on ultra and tell me when the lag kicks in. I'll bet you my left nut it doesn't start after 60 hours of gameplay.

well I wish could present the facts some people want, But I have noticed a difrence on my end of textures not popping up on furniture, doors,
walls and other things.Whiterun and dwarven ruins sems to have taken the biggest hit to me, Whiterun seems to be just a bit bland, its hard
for me to say what it is it just lots something.

Dwarven ruins Ive noticed wall segments dont match each other, its high rez the a part just is a blurry segment that looks out of place.
Also inventory items when inspected the image on the screen is flat and undetailed, looking very PS2'ish with not real details just basic
low rez picture.

Because you actually put an effort to come onto this thread and flame the OP. I didn't care for it, but since everyone else wants to flame him for something he pointed out that's happening to me too then why wouldn't I comment about it? And here you all are complaining saying that I was complaining when all I was doing was pointing out that regardless of whether it's true for everyone or not I do see some difference. That's it, nothing more to it.

Nobody's "flaming" the OP, just asking for proof of the "fact" that's being claimed here. And finding it odd that not one piece of said proof has surfaced in two days of complaining about the "fact" in question.

I noticed it the most in temple dibella. The lighting in there is such that now, people just look messed up. It's VERY noticible.

Also, I have spent a good deal of time looking at the ice where the blood on the ice quest is supposed to start (since it's buggdd) and now if you look at it, it looks like it was made from legos.

If you can't see the changes, I suspect your vision isn't very good. I've heard the same sort of things from people in HD TV forums who say they can't see the difference between dvds and bluray.
