Things we've found in Dead Money.

I found a Holorifle, pretty cash if you ask me.

Other then that, there is some gold bars worth 10k each.

To bad you'll never be capable of taking them all home. :sadvaultboy:

Pretty impossible to get them out because you have to jump and plus there is a bomb collar on your neck that will explode if you don't leave in time : (

The hardest part is letting go or so the DLC says.

Has anyone else found the new snow globe? I found it on top of a crate on the 2nd floor before the end of the game ( right before you send your 3 allies to their spots). I believe it was in the norte del sol area.

Can anyone post a screenshot of the Assassin's suit and the Sierra Madre armour/helmets? I don't mind even if it's very low quality.

I don't know whether I'll be getting this DLC yet, hopefully it fits with my latest NCR/Merc sniper/cowboy character.

-waves hand at Dog/God dismissively-

Anywho, whats Dean like? Describe him.http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii97/Martyr_of_Death/CD-iLink.jpg

Edit- What is the assassin suit? Is it a vanilla item with unique stats or does it have its own skin?

HILARIOUS that you just said that.
It's ironic..considering..well.. you'll find out.

Just finished playing the game a few minutes ago. Took me 7 hours. The assassin suit looks kind of like the Van Graff combat armor, but less bulky around the shoulders and with long sleeves.

So is the room with the terminal and the golden bars the furthest you can go into that vault? If so, that is kind of disapointing. I expected something great, but truthfully I had all the best items available in the game after about 3 hours of playing. Also, any idea what was meant by two couriers fighting under two different flags in the legend of the divide?

The DLC was really, really great, very few bugs (only ones I had was one dead ghost person got trapped in scenery and rattled around lately and couldn't access any additional dialogue with veronica after) but it seems a bit rushed near the end. I expected some big reveal about what the ghost people are exactly, and how they got to be like they are, and maybe having their own agenda that conflicts with Elijah's. But in the end, all I get to know about them is some people who built the villa used those suits when they had some strange leaks and they were hard to take off and talk in. Really underdeveloped in my opinion. Never really explained what the cloud is made of either.

For people having trouble talking to Veronica afterwards, you really have to hammer her with questions about her personal story and Elijah before you get the option to tell her what happened. It's a little weird that you can't just up and say it right off the bat and gotta do a whole bunch of "Who's Elijah" questions, but there you have it. I was nice and gave her the tape instead of keeping it. :)

I purposely made it a point to exhaust every single dialogue option with Veronica before I even downloaded Dead Money. Ever single dialogue option was grayed out, but still nothing to be said about what happened. The best I could figure is that MAYBE it was because I hadn't done her quest, but I don't see how that would stop me from telling her the most important man in her life was a psychopath.

EDIT: And for everyone trying to get the gold bars out of the vault, I just had an idea. What if, before you talk to Elijah down there, you deactivate the security, pick up all the gold bars so you're encumbered, walk them to the elevator exit, then drop them their. Then you can return to speak with Elijah, deal with him however you please, make your escape, and just quickly pick up the bars before you activate the exit to escape.

Yeah, Unless the ghost people and the "mist" isnt explained in later content, i'm finding the story pretty half baked.

The cloud was from the madre. Elijah says its to preserve the tech and ward of intruders. And it came from the Madre so I assume it was planned and a defence system.
I assume the ghost people are the workers who had to wear suits they couldnt get off, and the cloud mutatedthem while stuck inside. I am guessing they drag people off to make more of them, probablly getting the suits from the madre chips.

You can get the gold out, all of it. (37 bars)
You carry it all to the forcefield by the exit, drop it, it passes through. Kill Elijah, then run around, pick up the bars and escape. I saw "the enclave" post it, checked the wiki and tested it, it works.
I am going to suggest you get all the gold now, it wasnt intended for you to get it all, so they may patch it.

Why does every single thing in the game need to be explained to us? I kind of enjoy being left to my own imagination about those things.

Because its stupid to have a new enemy, with no information at all.

The BAR uses 20 round magazines. And unlike the BAR the M-14 was totally uncontrollable on full auto....the Army eventually removed the selector switch on issued rifles for that reason. Yes, they are obsolete as far as modern warfare goes but the Courier has the luxury of tooling up based on the player's personal style. If I can shoot my way to victory in this game with a semi-auto sniper rifle, a pump action shotgun and a single-action revolver...I can do it with a BAR too....

Thanks for clearing that up. My goof, I was thinking of the M1 (as opposed to the BAR)! That being said, without delving into such things a cyclic rates and other such real world nonsense, the BAR is still a goofy choice for an "in-game" weapon, especially compared to others that would be more concurrent with the firearm tech as the game presents it...

Hell, if I were to really nitpick, I'd be griping about the relative weakness of the 10mm compared to other, lesser "real life" calibers. That one really gets the shaft!

Onto the rest of the DLC, it sounds really cool, but I've gotta ask... As cool as getting gold bars is, who really cares? They serve no exclusive purpose that can't be performed by many other things that are already available to any player, other than decoration, and even then, is 37-40 any better than, well, whatever you can carry? You can't kill anything with them (except yourself), no vendors in the game have enough to buy even 1 from you, let alone more, and given the state of housing and companion interaction in it, it seems that all you would be doing by using them decoratively is giving them away to one or more of your companions.

I guess I'm just a bit more pragmatic than most here...

Yes the Followers safehouse will look pretty good with all those ingots stacked up.

"Mr Sutler, can we not sell those ingots to feed people."

"No of course not."

"But... there just sitting there, the NCR would buy them, after the Brotherhood war they..."
