Things we've found in Dead Money.

I know a gold bar is roughly that heavy IRL, but seriously, Obsidian makes me annoyed with this, I mean seriously, I'm a collector, and when I can't collect, I get mad e_e

true but you can drag PA fine. Also even if there was no jumping, ou would still have atime limit that you wouldnt be able to get past if over encumbered. Not even close.
I guess they really wanted to hammer home the "you just have to let go" part and how money isnt everything.

For me it isnt the value, it's the knowledge of 'I have something rare or unique under my lock and key, it is now safe' kind of ordeal :cryvaultboy:

Currently scouring the Villa for that Reinforced Security Armor. No luck as of yet. :(

I found it in the executive area security closet.

I know how you feel. I had some weapons I would never use, but I took them just because they were unique. I just didnt realize how unique given I cant return.

It saddens me though, Imagine, 30-40 gold bars, stacked in the Lucky 38 purely for the pride of 'I survived and collected these' only to be robbed of such a goal. :sadvaultboy:

If the bars stack in the inventory one should be able to drop all 35 as a single item and use the grab command to drag it, only putting it into the inventory for going between doors. A trick I used back in FO3 for the power armor during the waters of life quest.

You cant pick them up and drag them, only put them in inventory.

But once there in your inventory can't you drop them? The idea would be you get a stack of all 35 in your inventory then drop it as one stack and use the grab command.

But what he's saying though is the Grab function wont work on the gold, an obvious ploy used by Obsidian.

Which means its basically useless as decoration as you couldn't stack and position them like you want.

This. They predicted me well, ignoring the objective and going "holy [censored]" filling my pocket with every gold bar... Only to find I was carrying over 1000 lbs... Obsidian are cruel devs.

Thought about doing that, thought Avellone was a funnier response, given the appropriateness of the situation xD

Collector is the exact term I would use to describe myself.

I literally made a character on Fallout 3 dedicated to collecting any item that was rare or unique. After playing for about 150 hours, I found out that I had missed one weapon from Mothership Zeta, the lab coat from the scientist in Grayditch (Lesko, I think his name was), and Doctor Li's Outfit.

I was extremely unhappy, and ended up making another character, just to get those three items.

Except that one missed the weapon again.

Damn Mothership Zeta.

Anyways, I think I will pick this up next week, maybe. Need some Microsoft Points...

Hum, my question is this: Can you describe the Assassin Suit to me? It sounds awesome, but aesthetics matter.

That might work, but I have no clue if during the timed part where you have to jump there is a body to use. I don't think they "nerfed" it, but keep in mind that while most human corpses are easy to drag around, many "creature" corpses are hard to drag for some reason.

You could, but you wouldnt escape in time dragging a corpse.

Just loaded a save, nope too slow. I bet they are laughing at how desperate this seems

What about an arm or a leg? You can almost run at full speed with those.

ALSO: Turbo!
Take turbo, drag corpse, profit? Is there any Turbo to be found in the DLC? Can you keep any of your items from the outside world?
