CO-OP please gimme CO-OP!!! such a shame with a game so damn good that theres no multiplayer interaction :(
The game is basically perfect, an online mode would make it legendary!!
Good luck getting that to work properly. The fact that one has to pause repeatedly just for a fight to go properly is already a nail in the coffin of that idea. Not to mention the technical strain, especially on us console gamers.

Besides, when has a proper Bethesda RPG had any kind of multiplayer. It's a pipe dream at best.

i think that the dragonborn should travel to the land of Atmora in some expansion. atmora is rarely ever talked about, but nothing i can find gives evidence that atmora is dead. The land could still be alive and would not only be interesting from a story standpoint but as a point of fun gameplay as well.

Some of my ideas are jokes and some are not:

- Mounted fighting

- Vampire & Werewolf perk tree

- Dragons as mounts

- More complex fighting system

- Bring the attributes back

- Make your own unique armor with decals and whatnots

- 3x more spells and spell perk trees

- More civil jobs (working in the mill isn't enough)

- More different weapon types (spears and whatnots) and more unique looking ones

- Be able to build your own shack / house / cottage

- Be able to make campfire and setup tent

- Better interaction with the game world.

- Advanced UI

- Horse armor

- Get your own horse from the wilds and name her and be able to train/level up her. (Stamina, Health, Speed, Damage) Hell, add the perk tree for it too while your at it

- Shape your characters pre-story (no need to have million options, but something to choose from would be great)

- hardcoe mode: You NEED to eat, sleep to survive. Being naked in the snow mountains makes you freeze to death, same applies for swimming in ocean that has icecubes in it, campfires might save you from death (ya gotta keep yourself warm in the blizzard)

- Better and longer guild quests (heck, fix the main quests while your at it)

- Be able to shapeshift into a dragon

- Aaaannndd...oh wait, 30 min to go untill my shift ends, that's it for now !

Agreed with everything until that hahaha!

Just brainstorming some ideas for an inevitable future expansion pack... Development takes a long time, gotta get these ideas coming early!

-Game Balance Fixes: Reduce sneak attack damage with dagger, make Destruction perk "impact" not be able to stun lock every opponent in the game, etc.
Sneak attacks are supposed to do alot of damage, you are stabbing an opponent in the back without them knowing you are there. Your ideas sound more like patch fixes than DLC ideas.

The ability to build and upgrade your own house/stronghold. Manage guards for it. Maybe make it into a business.

More guild running options.

I think with either a once again unified empire or a liberated skyrim the next step is to get rid of the Thalmor they are really a thorn for both sides, so I would like to see a quest line to let this happen, it doesn't have to be a main quest but it would be cool. (I have no ideas really for the main quest)... I think a cool radient quest that would be cool, would be to take back Helgen from the bandits so it can be rebuilt (this would open additional radient quests both during the rebuild and after it has completed). maybe after you get the bandits out the rebuild starts, but then you have to help liberate supply lines, or run messages to get supplies to keep construction on going... as each one completes construction then moves farther along.... maybe after 6 in game months it can be completed and re-populated. I would like to see expanded factions that could be joined and expansion of the current faction quest lines. For gameplay changes I would like to see role-playing modes added to the game:

1. Standard - would leav functionality as it is now
2. Adept - would make eating, drinking, and sleeping required and impose negative buffs when these are ignored
3. hardcoe - add adept requirements and also disable the HUD and fast travel.

Also, someone had a mod idea where you pick the armor style (imperial, daedric, ancient nord, etc) and the material (Steel, Elvin, Ebony, etc) to help armor and weapon customizations, so this would be a cool addition. Also, it would be cool if you could carry a bed roll and cooking supplies to help with the role-play modes, this way you can sleep and cook food while on the road.

Well that is it for my suggestions that I think could actually be implemented without to much trouble.

since there's multiple I want 3

psjic order questline size medium

gives more spells psjic robes I would want this first because magic feels bland and boring and destruction and conjuration also alteration need scaling and better Spells

a dlc where you build a castle take over cities (like civil war whiterun quest) (large)

build your own castle has upgrades and can be built for each archetype Mage warrior theif. also hire mercenaries and have occasional attacks

daedric realm (very large)
after si I think we are bound for a daedric realm expansion every game

Yea i thought about that too. that place is insane, but akavir could just be too crazy for just one dragonborn. It gets my vote for TES 6 setting tho

I doubt it would be as whacked out as that book.

It's like the TES equivelant of Marco Polo's book.

As a 360 user, I'd like customizable houses, and a choice of several locations for them. That way, if I want a small cabin by a river, I can have that, or if I decide that I want it in the mountains on a snowy ridge, I can have that, instead.

And by customizable, I mean give players the option of where to place certain interior items in the houses. That way, I can have a storage chest next to my enchanting alter, for instance. But if I'm not someone who does enchanting, I can place that chest somewhere else where it will be more useful to me.

On a similar note, being able to carry a tent and bedroll with you and have your own campfire would be great! At some point, I want to play a nomadic character who only goes into towns to buy and sell goods, but if I want to RP deep enough that I require my character to sleep, then I'm forced to rent a room or find some place out in the world to hole up at night.

Just brainstorming some ideas for an inevitable future expansion pack... Development takes a long time, gotta get these ideas coming early!

I'll start:
-Shouting Skill and Skill Tree: Self explanatory, more shouts and shout perks for the win!

-Better existing shouts: It's annoying that level 3 Fire shout has over 3x the cooldown but doesn't even do twice as much damage, for example.

-Game Balance Fixes: Reduce sneak attack damage with dagger, make Destruction perk "impact" not be able to stun lock every opponent in the game, etc.

Sorry, haven't read the thread. Just had to respond to the OP. Why would want the game to reduce damage for anything. That should be the players option in the character build. More so, why would anyone want a reduction in Sneak Attack damage for daggers? The idea is to Assassinate the target, ie one shot them anyway.

On topic - I would like to see housing outside of a major hold, and equipped with ALL the crafting stations.

Flesh out the guilds. Longer quest lines for guilds, guild members should recognize you. And I want to really be a bard, darnit. Improve horses, including first person riding. More marraige options. More options in quests--should be a good, neutral and evil option for each. More stores, whatever happened to bookstores? More cities, expand existing cities. More animal followers--cats, please. And I agree with mmm-buddah23--tent and bedroll and campfire, whoever heard of an adventurer who couldn't camp out? More Khajiit stuff. More stuff for each race.

I was hoping they would do something like Assassins creed 2, where you could invest money into the cities, and expand them / add walls to the cities that are not walled, upgrade shops, things of that nature, add more houses for random NPC's.
