i think its official, the werebears are beths idea of a sick

Lore says werebears are in Skyrim. Bethesda gives us Skyrim, but no werebears. Lore says vampires are x in Skyrim. Bethesda gives us Skyrim, but vampires are y.

So what do they do? Turn "Underworld" into a DLC for the vampire lovers and add unplayable werebears in another DLC.

They're doing it wrong. Games should be built around the lore. The lore should not be built around lazy developers and outdated engine limitations.

1: About the Vampires... We didn't knew what Skyrim Vampires were truly like. The stupid Immortal Bloods book could've easily been completely wrong! If you ask me, I do believe they did vampires wrong at first in Skyrim by making them similar to Cyrodiilic but with Dawnguard, they are more unique and more "Volkihar" than "Cyrodiilic".

2: As for Werebears. My only guess is Skyrim Nords manage to scare them away and they flee to Solstheim. As for becoming one... I have no idea why we cannot and that is a problem, if you ask me.

They did this. There's an axe in Dragonborn stuck in a rock I like, but I can't get. I don't think they did it just to bug me.

That axe was there in Bloodmoon. You can't take it back then. So that is lore friendly and nice addition.

It's not even close. All Bethesda did was copy over vampirism from Oblivion. Dawnguard added Vampire Lords, which is nice and all, but still nothing like what was in the book.

Sure, the book could have been wrong, but both Movarth and the Volkihar Clan show up in Skyrim. Adding Movarth was a nice touch by Bethesda, but it seems like what they did was look for names in their existing lore for content ideas for Skyrim and, after reading through Immortal Blood, decided to just take the names and throw them in the game.

Typical Bethesda laziness. Just like taking everything that was developed in just 1 week for Game Jam and making DLCs out of it. Laazzzzyyyyyy.

And that is the definition of stupidity.

Alright, you need to cool it. This, by the way, is flaming. If you have an opinion, phrase it nicely, don't just do this. Don't be aggressive. To be honest, it seems like you're here to piss people off and troll. That's the impression I get from you.

Really, if you have such a big problem with the game, why are you here on this forum for paid DLC for the game? I call BS on your arguments. Obvious troll is obvious.

So... we don't allow members to hurl accusations of trollery at each other. So starting an OP with flamebait title and content accusing the developer of trolling seems like it sure steps wide of the rules.

Plus many of the posts went down hill from there. So I am closing it. And some of these posts are going to get close scrutiny.

On a personal non-moderator note, reading a bunch of threads about Dragonborn where people are [censored]ing because the DLC put something they have asked for - nay, demanded - into the game, but it wasn't to whatever specification individuals have in their minds seems just... well, so internet, I guess. :(
