I have a feeling we'll never again see another Game Jam-type video for any future Bethesda games. So thanks for that, guys.

I am getting this vibe myself.

Assuming Dragon Riding are a twelve pack of eggs they didn't handle it, they left them on the top of the car and drove away.

The eggs are under the illusion that they're controlling the car - but they're not. Funny how that works...

When did they ever tell you you'd get wearbears.

Why did you assume you would.

I totally assumed they'd give me umbra and they didn't! They're trolling me!

See how silly that sounds?

They're advlts. advlts who are reasonably mature and have a multimillion dollar company. They don't "Troll"

Does it matter if they said they were adding them or not? Everyone and their mother knows that Werebears and Spears are two of the most frequently requested features here. If the Devs don't read the forums every now and again, well, that is a bit of a shame.

I was against Werebears being added at all and even I think it is silly to add them in but not make them playable.

I'm not arguing it would be a good idea to put them on, I'm arguing it's stupid to think they deliberately didn't do it to irritate their fanbase.

Its the simple fact the beth knew we wanted playable werebears and then gave us werebears but we couldnt play them... Dafuq? I am over it now but it honestly was a bad way to to go about it, they should have added playable werebears instead of worthless dragon riding which is pointless.

honestly, your reading too far into it, almost becoming delusional. They are trying to add things into the game. New enemies etc. They are not trolling you even though thats the only thing that you can think up.

Who would do such a thing, I mean it's a great Dlc and all, but the hours I spent looking to find a way to transform so my character could match my Nordic carved helmet was kind of svckish. It makes you wonder, why would they troll like that, when someone trolls, they do it with the intent of getting people angry, but why would Beth want to make us angry, what did we do
beeing a pc player to me is fine they added the model and the animation transformation and thats all I needed .... Now I can make my sker berserks :) ...

They have never said that we could become werebears that is true. But they dont have to lie to troll.

They knew perfectly well that people wanted to be a werebear and use spears and while they added spears and werebears to the game they made them unuseable.

Its like watching a kid outside a cake store (obviously wanting a cake), walk inside, buy a cake, come out and give it to the kid, but then it turns out its just a plastic cake. It can easily be considered trolling even if they never lied.

Unless some feature is explicitly stated as being in, I would take it as not being included.

People have wanted spears, horses, crossbows, throwing stars, throwing darts, rideable dragons, rideable guars, guns, werewolves, werebears, wereboars, and a lot more that I can't recall off hand. Just because something is seen in the game doesn't mean it is available to the player. There were guars with saddles, and guar with packs in Morrowind. The saddle guars weren't for riding, and the only pack guar the player sort of interacted with was involved in an escort quest.

So they worked on the horses, worked on the werewolves, worked on the crossbows... Whether or not the rest of the "players want list" will show up in a game is known only to the devs. Personally, I would prefer to find things in the game instead of knowing every single detail ahead of time.

If people want this thread to stay open, the sniping back and forth really needs to stop.

If I had a choice between werewolf and werebear, I would take the werewolf hands down. Why put in a werebear when there is already a werewolf? More people wanted werewolf than werebear.

As they say. No one promised anything. Todd Howard said that the gamejam only showed what his people done. If any of these things were going to be in future dlc's, he did not know. Some things were and some not. It was Todd's people having "play" time and a way for them to relax, and Todd shared. Now everyone thinks that just because a few things from the gamejam were put into dlc's, that everything will be.

That's not a promise. Bethesda never, ever promised that we'd get useable Spears or Werebears. That's actually called random speculation based upon Devs playing around in their spare time.

Just because the Devs gave us some of the things that they were toying around with in the Game Jam, does not mean that they are required nor are they making a promise that we will get every bit of it.

The only reason that we have received the items that we have from the game jam video is due to nothing other than Bethesda generosity.

It is only arrogant elitism that would ever make someone assume that because they gave us some of the items, that they then were required/promised to give us the rest of them.

The fact that these threads keep continuing... I think the only thing it's accomplishing is to guarantee that we never again get to see what they Devs do in their downtime or for fun.

I know that but they did come true in some way shape or form (well at least a lot of them did)

Dragon mounts: You can't control them but you can ride them

werebears: Sadly you can't play as them

spears: Or at least the Reikling spears which are used as arrows

Kill cams for magic and ranged: Yes we have those

Adoption: Hearthfire

Build your own home: Hearthfire, sadly no skeleton butler though

Goblins: Kinda, but they are reiklings

Waygate fast travel: Kinda in Dawnguard. Basically the Forgotten Vale does this

Epic new mounts: Kinda, remember that skeletal horse with the orange flames in the game jam video? Make his flames purple/blue and you get Arvak

Mounted combat: Yup, we have that

Kinect shouts: Yup, we have that as well

Lycanthropy perk tree: Yup, due to Dawnguard

Vampire feeding: Yup again

Vampire Lord: Yes we have that, we even have a perk tree for it.

Yeah, that looks like most of what was in the game jam video. For some reason I think Todd Howard liked the ideas.

This is kind of a pattern that I have been noticing as well as the codeminers finding data in updates.

He may have liked the ideas, and included some of them in dlc's, but he never promised anything !

He even went on to say that some of these things may never see the light of day, while others may.

Than speak about a pattern and not promises. Other see posts like the first one and we get more and more whining about broken promises and such...

Whenever someone posts an angry thread like this on werebears, spears or dragon riding it makes me think of the "Francis has a tantrum and throws xbox out window" Youtube video.
