I want to see things intergrated into and not just patched onto the game... Flesh out whats already there rather than adding more skeleton features.

Ive been playing since november and have encountered game freezeing bugs, and I still stick to my Idelogy of Skyrim being amazing, Its right to express your feelings but I found it rather rude with his little "Comment" about people who love the game as being "sheep".

Skyrim as far as the art goes it's absolutely amazing... but I don't think beth took the time and effort to spot these glitches let a loan tried fixing it. Now their talking about releasing DLC.... and how everyone is dying for it to be release before the bugs can get fixed? I will never understand it.

I'm not that bothered if it takes then a while before we finally get any DLC. I would rather Bethesda took their time with it to make sure it all worked with little to no bugs etc. Than for them to rush a product that feels 'un-finished'.

I have to agree, I'd rather Beth fix all the remaining big bug issues 1st then worry about DLC, although that doesn't mean I wouldn't want them working on DLC. They should just not release it until the major issues are gone.

this is very good news. but i'm sad that they are "very early" in the dev process of the DLC, i thought for sure we'd get an announcement soon, but it looks like that's a few months off sadly. =/ i am glad and thankful that they are going to be spending so much time in skyrim, because it truly is the best and most entertaining tes game to date. cheers.

from reading the article, it appears that the stuff on the game jam will be released for free, in between the larger expansions. i'm guessing 2 large expansions and 1 smaller style dlc near the end of in between, and then some free ideas etc from the game jam or whatever they want for free in between.

Fingers crossed that when they say expansion packs that means they aren't ruling out integrating awesome systems like verlet surfaces and dynamic seasons.

I don't really care about stuff like horse combat or new enemy types or cool dungeons, we're entirely capable of all that stuff all by ourselves, not that it's not fun.

no tes game to date has ever introduced a new skill with an expansion pack. the skills we have are the skills we will have..

lycanthropy perk tree wouldn't be a skill, just a tree that opens up once you become a werewolf..

"we just think we can do better content if we approach it a different way."

"Because that gap is going to be bigger, we want to put litle things out for free in between. We've already done that for PC with http://kotaku.com/5883064/skyrims-official-high-resolution-texture-pack-makes-your-dovahkiin-sixier-than-ever/gallery/?tag=skyrim. We're trying to figure out what those things are."

uh, yeah, like I said, quote me where todd said that the dlc will be fundamentally different (which would include adding SKILLS in the dlc, which has *never* been done) still waiting bud. if you actually understand what context is, you'd realize he was referring to the fallout dlc and how they want to release it different instead of the 10 per 5 times plan.

for crying out loud people, the game jam said "lycanthropy PERK TREE", not lycanthropy SKILL. you would gain access to the perk tree once you became a werewolf. that does not mean it's a "skill". that doesn't even make sense. "oh yeah i'm a master in destruction, alchemy, and werewolf." Lol?

@bigbossbalrog, read the edited part of my post, about how you took the quote completely out of context.

I know that, By loooking at the article we can assume, example Morrowind had 2 expansions but no small addons, Oblivion had one large expansion and numerous small addons, Bethesda is going be doing a good deal of large dlc, and a good deal of small Dlc packs, so it IS radically differnt then previous dlc Plans.

yes, radically different in the aspect of how large and how often, what's your point? that says nothing about the content of the dlc. you're assuming and making points based off conjecture, sorry, that's still assuming, and you do not know. that was the original point that i made with you, and now that you've just proven it for me, i bid this thread farewell ;)
