What about Killing Floor?

I want to take advantage of the half price sale on Steam, but I don't know if I'd enjoy it.

Is Destroy all Humans 2 worth $15 ?

The first one is, but I'd only get DAH2 nowadays if it was under a fiver. If you've played the first, you won't miss anything.

Is Daggerfall worth going through the trouble of using DOSBox?

Its not that hard to set it up with DOSBox, they did a very good install guide for Daggerfall when they made it freeware. Its certainly worth a blast given its free.

Yes. Besides, once you find out how to work Dosbox it's easy, and there are plenty of good and free DOS games lying around on the web.

Yay. Especially with the extra songs available on PSN/XBL and a friend or two. :D
Later on, you should also get GH5, if you get bitten by the bug. :D

Well I ended up getting it - actually it was a bundle deal of Guitar Hero 5, World Tour and a guitar controller for just $120 :D I'm loving it so far, it's ridiculously addictive when playing with friends....shame I svck and can only play on Easy right now

It's on sale for $5 and I'd say it is worth at least that much. It gets old kind of fast, but it is fun to pick it up again every few months and shoot zombies.

What trouble? Freddo has a sticky up in Past Elder Scrolls games that explains in detail how to use it, if you need help.

I'm a huge Oblivion fan...........

How much will I like Dragon Age for the Xbox 360?

Well, it's not like Oblivion, but if you can appreciate what I consider to be a blend of Diablo and Mass Effect, then you will enjoy the game.

I have Brawl...is the original SSB worth getting?

The original SSB is the best of the series IMO.

I don't like Fallout 3 and I don't think I'm a bad person.

Well, you are. :)

I've been thinking about CoD:MW2 for a while.. is the Multiplayer/Campaign any good?

The campaign is excellent, albeit short. The multiplayer is average. It's way too fast paced. There is no health system, so you'll be dying left and right. There's no strategy involved and no skill involved. It's all about being in the right place at the right time.

I was thinking about getting F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin. It looks like one of those underrated titles. Is it any good?

Fear 2 is..ok,the campaign is pretty good(play Fear 1 first if you can) the multiplayer isn't impressive, though it can be fun for a while 'till you get tired of grenades being OP'd.

If you haven't played Fear 1 you won't be confused jumping into Fear 2..though the game most likely isn't good enough to keep you if you aren't a fan of the first one.

In the end,if you have played Fear 1 and liked it,Fear 2 is a good game,Fear 2 is basically the ending to Fear 1 seen through different eyes..with a twist.

Be warned though-it isn't really based around really creepy moments like Fear 1 was,it's more of a FPS that happens to make you jump once or twice before you're done with it.

I'd rent it.

I liked it, and the ending made me lol, but in a good way. I can safely say that I will buy a sequel unconditionally because of that ending. The ride leading up to it was worth the monies, can't speak for the multiplayer though.

Trouble?

DOSbox is easy to use.

I'd say it's worth it.

The PC version's multiplayer is horrendous.

Why just the PC? It's all the same on every platform.

It's a very Bioware game, so if you like Bioware games you will enjoy it. However, of all 3 versions (PC, PS3, 360), the 360 is the worst. It has the most compressed graphics and the longest load times.

Yes, there should be enough intructions around to help you set it up. And the game is free, so there's no harm in trying.

This is a bit of a broad question, but having just bought myself a Nintendo Wii last night, I was wondering what are some good Wii/Gamecube games that I should be grabbing? I'm fairly open to near any genre, so I was hoping to hear a few good suggestions some people might have.

I currently only having the Wii version of Twilight Princess.

Super Mario Galaxy is the best Wii game I've played. If anyone owns a Wii and doesn't have that game, they need a slap.

Wii Sports is legendary. I'm not too keen on everything else, but then again I am a gamer who only likes shaking his wrist about on certain occasions.

Wii Sports Resort is fun. Super Mario Galaxy is amazing. Mario Kart is a lot of fun, too. Super Smash Bros. Brawl is a great fun.

Mario galaxy. Not much other than that, unless you like the gore then theres madworld you could rent, and a new zelda should be out this year.

Have you looked into what CS:S is? There's no leaning, no cover system or sprint. It looks like a basic shooter, but after you play it a while, you can start to notice the subtleties.

I picked it up a long time ago for ~$20 and I'd say it was definitely worth it, but I was also in a clan and dumped many, many hours into it. They just had it on the Christmas sale for either $5 or $10. Sorry you missed it :(

I got half life 2 (comes with CS:Source) and The Orange Box for ?20 from GAME (yes, I know HL2 is already on it) All the mods more than make up for the "oldness" of the games. Zombie Master anyone? :D

I found Trauma Center (the first and only one I played) to be really fun, if not highly frantic at points. The new Super Mario Brothers is fun. Think of it as a giant mishmash of a lot of the good points from most of the mario games pre-64. SSB: Brawl was very fun in my house. Hell, the guys in my house would on occasion orchestrate the 99min FFA. I loved WarioWare.
