Alright alright.

It's an okay game. It can be a lot of fun to screw around in the mission editor. There are very interesting planes to fly, there's even a functioning UAV module. The AI and animations and voice acting all the things that have been horrible since the first Operation Flashpoint are still horrible. The campaign is a lot more fun, open-ended, and full featured than any previous Flashpoint campaign; I'm actually considering going back and finishing it. Finally, it's ten times better than Dragon Rising which is horrendous.

Command and Conquer red alert? I just bought Red Alert Retaliation .

It's pretty decent for an old RTS. You may require DOSbox to use though.

It has some good music though

No, you can skip the first two games though I'm sure the story does follow on.

I did play DD but so long ago I can't recall a thing about the story and I skipped BD.

It didnt marr my enjoyment of Divinity 2 though I havent finished it yet.

Its not bad.I would go with 3 star rateing for it.If you like Star Wars then its for you.It has few different endings so it is worth a coupe playthroughs.

It's.. okay.

The story is incredibly short, but some plot twists are truly unexpected. I gave it one playthrough and enjoyed it.

I guess this could go here.

Just got a PS3, only have Madden so far. All things considered, should I get Uncharted 2 or MW2?

Uncharted and Uncharted 2, two of the best the PS3 has to offer. Great stories, excellent characters, fun gameplay. Very cinematic experiences, especially the second. You're gonna wanna play Uncharted 1 first though, if you haven't already. Should be pretty cheap these days.

Both are great games that you should play, but Uncharted 2 is the better of the two in my opinion. Uncharted 2 has essentially zero flaws, whereas MW2 is dragged down a bit by a plethora of niggling issues in the multiplayer. Uncharted 2 has a much better single player experience (one of the best I've played), although despite it's flaws MW2 is still probably the better multiplayer game of the two. Overall though, I think Uncharted 2 is just the better game.

Alright, thanks.

Will I be completely lost story-wise if I don't play the first game? I really just want to jump into something incredible.

The story should still make sense, but I would strongly recommend playing the first game as well. It's dirt cheap nowadays anyway and it's bloody good too.

How is Psychonauts? It's $2 on Steam until Thursday, and I've heard good things about it.

Psychonauts is great, a solid platformer with excellent humor/atmosphere. It's certainly better than a lot of games that get away with charging full price these days, so there's nothing to complain about for $2. Granted, I have the PS2 version and have no idea how the PC port fares, but...$2. Unless it were unplayable I don't see how it wouldn't be worth it.

PC version performs better. I've played both versions, and the loading time on the PC version is fifty bazillion times faster than the PS2 version. Just use your gamepad if you don't like WASD. I had no trouble installing it on 64-bit OS either. From the size of the PS2 save game, I feel like the game wasn't optimized fully for the PS2. Other than the long loading times, and maybe some stuttering in places, I doubt there's much appreciable difference (I haven't played too much of it on the PC yet).

It's a fantastic game, certainly worth more than $2.00.
