If you love skyrim and want to get an idea of what the DLC may contain then you need to watch this video of Todd Howard at DICE 2012 http://www.gamespot.com/shows/gamespot-live/?event=skyrims_todd_howard_dice_keynote20120208 about 20min in Todd address's DLC and some of the ideas that they have been tossing around so just stick with it is all really good.

Eh I just said this in another thread but it belongs here:

Medium armor and an armor rebalance stat! You can reach max-damage reduction in LIGHT armor, and reach it in heavy with as cheap as dwarven (with a quest to gain +25% for dwarven). Can you say:
B-R-O-K-E-N
I like BTB's morrowind rebalance for armor. The best light armor provided half the damage reduction of the best heavy armor, while medium armor was perfectly in-between both. Also: No weightless heavy armor bull****. Daedric was HEAVY. There was actually a trade-off. Gasp.

Add medium armor back in just for this: Ice Armor from Bloodmoon. Stalhrim was a piece of nordic culture in Morrowind. Now in the Nordic homeland of Skyrim it's disturbingly absent.

Stalhrim DLC go go go!

A lot of the swords are outright ugly, craftable light armour looks hideous. SO along with whatever story additions extra quests the ability to make light armour and weapons that look great. The Nightingale armour look s amazing, the blades sword looks pretty damn good. The dragon armour (light or heavy) is hideous so a different variant would be rather nice.

I would like to see more of a story with the Nightingales/Thieves Guild and Dark brotherhood.

Can I have a crossbow too please?

Feels like I've just written to Santa

Give me spears, Lycanthropy perk tree, vampire Lord and new feeding animations for vampires and I'll be a happy man.

Ya after seeing that video I really cant wait to see what the future of skyrim holds but personally here is what I would like to see from the video: werewolf perk tree, weather that changes with the season, mounted combat, and maybe new animals to ride. but I'm not really interested in dragon riding cause I feel like it would be way to cheep.

I don't want to see any added form of transportation. Most of my characters never use horses at all just due to the fact that fast travel and running will get you anywhere fairly quickly.

Some added features for vampires would be nice to see though.

I would like to see more non-human followers:

I would be cool if you can buy unlimited dogs from a breeder so if a dog dies you can get a new one ( like buying a horse)

It would aslo be cool to have a dragon follower that you can interact with ( outdoors only), but in order to get him you have to do a certain quest. (
Spoiler
Odahviing does not count as a dragon follower
)

Goblins for Cyrodiil DLC? Werebears for a differant strain of Lyconthropy in another province? So much awesome stuff in that Jam Video, please put it all in!

***** :read: :tes: We (Xbox 360/Ps3) Need some sort of mod support. (Disables achievements/trophies on moded save)

Example: at skyrim main menu we have an option like download mods then it takes us to Skyrim nexus or the steam workshop where we have a list of all the available mods for skyrim.

This would be amazing  and it would add so much more gameplay/ replay value for those not playing on pc.*****

Basically I would like to see everything in the Jam Video, a DLC where you fight the Thalmor and reunite Tamriel, a DLC where you travel to the Isles of Artaeum and find out more about the Eye of Magnus, a DLC set is Sovnegarde where we're more involved with the divine, more epic bosses (Centurion Masters, Dragons, Giants, etc.) , customizable weapons/armor, more shouts, and more materials (mithril, obsidian, amber, etc.)

My DLC wishlist

-Expedition to Atmora in a Shivering Isles type expansion. I would love to learn more about the ancient Nord homeland. A lengthy main questline, side quests, and NPC's would be awesome.

-Some way to stick it to the Thalmor. Talking to the Thalmor guy in Markarth and Winterhold has made my Nord want to show those elves who's superior to whom.

-Somewhat related to the aforementioned Thalmor thrashing. I want to see some sort of questline where we get to interact with one of the Divines such as Talos since the theological debate around him ignited the Great War and subsequently the Nord Civil War.

-New Spells

-Craftable Dragon Bone/Scale weapons and possibly new weapon/armor crafting materials ie meteoric iron

-Expanded NPC marriage list

-Probably not going to happen but I would really love to expand the number of perks you can get beyond your level ie if you reach level 100 in all skills and used all your perks, I want to be able to select more perks bc there's so many good one's I like!

Just my two cents.

I think the reason that consoles do not get modding support is because Microsoft and Sony don't endorse modding on their consoles.
It would be amazing, as I prefer playing on my xbox because sitting at a desk to play games is just uncomfortable.

Im really hopeing for new smithing sets, if we are going to play more, new gear and stronger mobs would be cool , id also like to see a way to reset skill points, not sure if its possible but i would like a new save interface, where you can have different charactors and their saves, instead of a long list of tons of saves from all of your games.

And id really love to see the beginning of a great war on the thalmor.

I'm just wondering if the first DLC/expansion will be a new landmass or not. I'm not so sure now :/

If Roscrea is to be featured in a DLC, wouldn't it be nice if the native Roscrean NPCs used a new language and if the player had to cope with it and learn the language?

I think that having to learn a new language would really svck you might as well go into you game and set it to Russian just to make it harder

This is a minor thing, but I'd love to have some more long hairstyles for females. I keep seeing all the mods and it's making me jealous :(

I would love to see a combination of the new "Brawl" feature and the arena from Oblivion. I would also like to see some actually brawls with multiple NPCs. and last but certainly not least I would really enjoy having some of the marksman weapons from Morrowind, such as the crossbow and darts and throwing knives/stars.
Thank you very much for your talking the time to listen to the ideas of your fans and followers.

Bethesda should add another expansion based on becoming a god or part of a god. Like in the Shivering Isles you become Sheogorath. In Skyrim you should become another part of Talos by going to Vvardenfell.
Well, I thought the Dragonborn was like the Chosen One (not the CO from Fallout 2), The Gods' Herald or something.

I think something about the Amulet of Kings and relighting the Dragonfire would be quite awesome for a DLC.

That is true the amulet was destroyed but Bethesda is basically god to this game. If they want to rebuild it they can.
