Admins:

Bonemonster
Mrtankjump

The Modlist:

These players are the moderators for the server and have almost as much power as an Admin. Please respect them

Skoomaholic
SkyShadowing
Mirglof

Council: Decision making representatives of the player-base. These members are put forward by the players to represent them, but the final decision on appointment falls on the Admins and existing council members. Except in extreme conditions, the decision of this group will determine any changes to the server

The council is defunct for now as it is inactive. I will make decisions based on what the community desires and by what we really need. If the players still want a council then an election poll should be made over at the new forum.

Server IP:PORT 188.165.197.166:25582

1.9-10 Update notice: We will be getting a new map for 1.9-10. So we can start fresh with all of the new systems that will be in place.

What is Minecraft?

Minecraft is a creative sandbox game centered around exploration and survival; exploring and gathering resources allows you to protect yourself against a variety of beasties that hunt you down during the night. The creative sandbox elements of the game fuel your want to survive and gather, which in turn allow you to build many wonderful creations. Basic fluid physics also provide interesting means of creating basic machines. The multiplayer is very similar to the single-player, just with more people. Right now neither enemies nor damage function, however an update fixing this will be arriving shortly.

If I got any wrong/missing, please PM me so I can change it.

Please visit the server forum for discussion on the 1.8 map and Aldgate style gameplay. Server rules have been posted on the server forum.
Instructions on how to donate to help keep the server running are there to. You can donate at any time but donating is not required in any way to play, just makes it easier on Bonemonster.

Colored Titles Explained:

Red = Admin

Purple = Moderator (will also have Mod_ attached to their title if they have a chosen color already)

Light Blue = Rp City Guard

Any other color = Donator.

Only donators can get custom titles.

See the thread about donating on the server forum. Server needs some donating. The Bill is coming up!

Would there be any skill to lockpicking or is it just carry around an iron bar = free access to everything?

Bonemonster:
Percentage of success.

Failure = damage and destroying the pick.

I'm trying to get the MCMMO Dev to add a lock/lockpicking feature that is skill based. See my suggestion on the MCMMO BukkitDev MCMMO Forums under suggestions and give me some support. If you have a Curse account, you can log in with that. The more support there is for it, the more likely it will happen.

Good news Everyone!

One of the developers of Spout just told me that Spout already automagically downloads and installs the mods that it detects on the server.

All YOU need to do is download the http://spout.in/exe and install it.

Over the next few days I will be reviewing Spout mods to see what we could use. I suggest you do the same. Go to Bukkit and search for "Spout" in the Get Plugins section. You'll be able to see any Spout Plugins that there may be listed.

Ladies and Gentlemen, and skooma addicts of all ages. Tomorrow is a day of grand festivities all day tomorrow. Through out all of Thursday 20th will be what has been kept until now a close lipped event. Come to New Isis tomorrow as we hold an early birthday event for Bonemonster! I WAS planning fireworks, but the nolagg mod nerfs bomb sounds, so alas, that has been cancelled. However, there will be cake, cookies, a party room, and if we Bone is able to stick around for most of the day, a speech from the Megaman himself. Also, is an unexplored untapped 'cave of no return' that I have left unexplored as a game for people who want to go in and explore. I'll open the party room starting tonight. To new friends and old, I hope to see you all there.

Sorry Retro, apparently I'll need to make those shots in MC since Sproutcraft doesnt save ss, if they do, I didnt find them. Anywho. I'll wait till tomorrow to take comparisons.

For all those who want to visit the party room:

New Isis is located at:

X: 440
Z: 212

I don't know why it's so appealing to me, but the http://www.minecraftforum.net/topic/600254-surv-skyblock/ challenge map really sparked my interest. It's interesting to see just how much can be done with so little to start. I was up to the wee hours of the morning yesterday expanding my wee island with cobble, building mini-farms for all the plants, a small spawner platform, and a house. Sure, it's a tad tedious always having to run back to the cobble generator, never having better than stone tools, and whatnot, but there's a refreshing simplicity to it all.

Then I let a zombie push me over the edge, and I lost all my cobble, charcoal, and tools. Tiddlywinks.

I suspect you're on 1.8 due to multiplayer, which is good... I don't think I'd like the extra challenge of doing it in a snow biome and needing to cover all the water sources and torches. But it really is a lot of fun.

Also, I are stupid and only now realized that I can craft stone bricks. From this day forth, cobblestone is dead to me.

I still haven't figured out how to make a cobble factory with that itty bitty 3x3 piece of land.

I still haven't figured out how to make a cobble factory with that itty bitty 3x3 piece of land.

I downloaded version 1.1

With the 1.0 version, I know it'd involve some digging and placing dirt. The cobble generator I made looks like this (6 blocks long, total):

█L........W█
██......██
██████

As soon as I made a few dozen cobble, I abandoned the dirt-made one and made a cobble one.

(I know more compact designs exist, too. But this one I enjoy because it's simple and I get about a 75% cobble return rate.)

Alright, I have an idea of sorts. Since a lot of players keep asking when the RP map is going to start and when they are going to get to see the World Tree I propose this:

- Zip current world and upload to dropbox for download.

- Upload World Tree.

- Have temporary Rp world using the World Tree map.

- When Full release comes, zip, dropbox, re-up for "indefinite" rp world using the World Tree map.

This should be fine as mapgen is random anyway. We could probably reuse the starting point of the World Tree numerous times and get loads of different results each time. Not to mention that mapgen is changing with 1.9

At least I think that is how mapgen works. Or does it go entirely by the seed? I'm not sure.

Anyways, thoughts?

It is seed based.

werewolf will happen when we have enough people online who want to play. for a game to be fun we need atleast 8 players and 1 judge. so werewolf can happen any time, although i think its most likly to happen on tuesdays and wednessdays since that seems to be when most people are on.

EDIT: @terpy, the link to where i got my texture is in the descriptions below.

I say go for it. We can use it to practice and trial run an RP world.
