Hey guys, I have some free time later this month. Any possibility of slating me in for the shared map?

I'd love to show you all some of the architectural techniques i've learned.

Ug...so discouraging. My roommate and I made an expedition to go caving. Found a small pocket of monsters that had gold, diamonds, everything. I was on a sniping perch, picking them off until a skeleton hit me and I fell to my death. I found my way back and sacrificed myself to blow up the Creeper to kill the five or six new monsters that had spawned. We thought the coast was clear, so my roommate went in and blocked himself off so he could get my stuff from the first death. Then a zombie snuck up behind him somehow and killed him.

Add that to my roommate taking a swim in lava and all in all, we lost 3 or 4 diamond pick axes, 40+ iron ore, probably some gold, 2 minecarts, diamond shovel, a couple swords, a bow and two stacks of arrows, and miscellaneous other stuff.

Yeah, we're done playing for tonight.

I feel your pain, a slider knocked me into a 1x2 hole with lava at the bottom, I lost two stacks of iron, some gold and my tools and what not. Thankfully though it was at the start of my day and I made it all back and then some, after the shared map I'm going to start on my 1km long rail track.

Why would you bring more than one diamond pickaxe on a mining expedition? Or did you make them from the diamonds you found?

I usually bring a bucket of water to solidify any lava that may cause me trouble.

I had one and he had one. Then he didn't look down and walked straight into a square of lava that was isolated from the rest of the lava somehow. When he got back, I made him a new one. After I died the first time in the monster room, I got back to Lava Base (a little outpost underground) and the only materials I had there were sticks and 3 diamonds. My plan was to dig directly to my roommate since I had no idea how to get back to where we were, so I made a diamond pickaxe. I gave him my diamond pickaxe and then sacrificed myself. So he was carrying two pickaxes when he jumped in to get all my stuff from my first death and got killed. By the time we got back, all the stuff was gone.

Just poor planning and unfortunate events.

Such is life. Such is Minecraft.

You guys should really keep this shared map conflict to pms.

Well I logged onto today, to see how well my laptop can play mc. Turns out not that well when it is raining. ): There's just so much new stuff that I haven't really kept up. Lol.

I can imagine the presentation.

"Oh, hi guys, thanks for turning up. Yeah....Minecraft....that game....erm.....in the future we may or may not be adding another wool colour.......so.... thanks I guess. Now if you'll excuse me I'm off to the Bellagio!"

I had to look up what the Bellagio was... Man, now I really want to visit Vegas. =/

... Also, new wool color? I think I would actually be pleased to hear that announcement. It would actually give me a reason to keep running around, beating sheep with swords.

Oh, and Mr. E: That last remaining slot would be perfect timing, I think. Unless something crops up, I should be able to fill it easily.

The sad thing is it'll probably be like that without the new wool colour, since its the release date.

Heh, so I went to build some stuff with lava and died and lost a whole ton of stuff, that I mined and was carrying. My project that I was working on also looks terrible right now so I'm just going restart and do so mining tomorrow.

I can't even play on the server anymore due to mysterious lag suddenly attacking. I think its just because I live in Hawaii and the region this server is based in is pretty far. Will probably just have to find a new server or something.

I don't understand why it didn't do this before though. Back on the Torhemn map everything ran smoothly. Weird.

I suspect he's implemented some sort of mod-checker without telling us what mods we can have in our clients.
