Commercial .45-70 Gov't usually has a pretty light load (I guess to avoid blowing up olde tyme Trapdoor Springfields) but handloads can be pretty nuts. Of course, there's a decent amount of powder to burn to propel that big lump of metal, so it usually needs a longer barrel.
See my list up there? *wink wink* *nudge nudge* *punch stomp*
Kidding, but I'm glad to see a fellow gun nut working on one of my favorite series. I have to ask you, regarding the weapons in the Fallout universe, do you prefer seeing real world weapons (M107s, Desert Eagles, P90s etc.) in Fallout or older WW2 era guns that fit the timeline split? And do you feel like seeing modern guns in the wastes breaks the immersion? I'm just curious because I've been having this debate with many people on many forums and since you actually work on the game it would be interesting to hear your point of view
