what weapons should be in fallout: new vegas

Maybe they didn't know the awesomeness that is the .223 pistol.

Isn't the .223 a sawed off rifle?

Wattz laser weapons
Original plasma weapons (i.e. Winchester Plasma Rifle)
Original combat shotgun (didn't like the one from FO3)

now.. its not a weapon, but i think ciggaretts should play a bigger part of the game... other than a "miscellaneous item" it should be an aid...like beer and wine

Makeshift bows and crossbows are a must. And no sissy crap either. If I have 100 in their respective skills and shoot someone in the head with it at near pointblank range, I don't want to have to shoot them again (mutants excluded of course).

i'd want any sniper rifle + ability to go prone.

also the pancor jackhammer and H&K CAWS (but only cuz they were in FO2) would be sweet. :D

the title says it all..
i honestly there should be a bigger variety of weapons in F:NV than F1,2,&3
weapons like: the M4 assault rifle, the desert eagle,the AK-47,and a silenced/unsilenced 45-calibur pistol
and of course they should keep the energy weapons and SOME of the original (F3) weapons....
that is all i can think of, what can you guys think of?

Acoustic guitars would do very little damage and break on 1-2 hits.
Electric guitars would do medium damage and last for 4-5 hits.

They would really be completly useless, but fun.

Exactly. But break within a few hits, making a satisfying "breaking guitar" sound. :D

Out of combat you could play it to keep your spirits up, or make money in the streets. :P

I want some new energy weapons that have a more powerful feel to them. Its annoying for me to have something like a laser rifle just make the little pew pew sound but doing a decent damage.

What would be PERFECT: Tesla Rifle :shocking:

Hopefully the "schematic" based weapons of Fallout 3 are not included. Those were just rather childish and pointless, and added little value to the game.


hopefully your hopes won't come true.
they were awesome and offered good functionality and flavor(the shish and the gauntlet, in particular are very powerful and fun, nailing heads to a wall with the railway rifle never gets old). more of that, please

How about the MEC Gauss Minigun from Fallout Tactics:BOS? Or Pancor Jackhammer anyone? Also I really think the option to duel-wield is a must, like maybe as a perk or something.
