What I wish the most is a non-crappy port for the PS3. No game-breaking crashing bugs please.

This a million times over.

Yeah, pretty much my list too. The first two in particular. I'd add:

- No arbitrary good/evil system
- No quest markers (not sure how likely that is though :()

I'd add Damage Thresholds too but from what I've read there's a good chance they'll be back in NV!

It would be nice if we at least could turn off the quest markers.

Or, at the very very least, so that they are only in your map and not in the compass (should there even be a compass, that is).

More custom built weapons would be nice. What's the point of endless junk in the wastelands if you can't make weapons out of it?

I'd also like to see a vehicle system, so as to eliminate the "Teleport from point A to point B" aspect. At least with a vehicle, it makes sense to skip the in between. Besides, who wouldn't want to zip around the wastelands on an atomic motorcycle?

What I really, really, REALLY want (because I really, really, REALLY missed it in Fallout 3)
is the ever so "wonderful" summary that you got after completing Fallout 1 & 2.

In other words, I want all my trudging across the wasteland doing side-quests, killing someone here, saving someone there,
to amount to something. I want to, at the end of the game, learn how my actions or non-actions influenced the people I met
and the places I visited. ALL the people I met and ALL the places I visited.

So please. PLEASE! Pretty please with sugar on top! Please let me know in detail how I affect the wasteland. Not with broad-strokes
saying "He chose the righteous path". Details!

"Thanks to the Lone Wanderer peace was restored in (insert name of city/town/hovel)"

or

"Because of the Lone Wanderers help, trade-routes began finding their way to (city/town/hovel), but this also brought raiders
and other bad people. (City/town/hovel) was eventually consumed by gang-fighting and the good that had once been there...vanished".

and so on and so forth.

Oh, did I say Please?

ADS or Iron Sights is gonna be hard if not impossible to pull off with GameBryo

modders have already accomplished it through modding, and obsidian's got the source code. besides, the framework's already there in FO3.

really ironsights is all i'm asking for. i already know the writing's gonna be good - obsidian's pretty much the best in that department. a more polished fallout 3 with stronger gunplay and writing would be amazing.

Yeah, but you have to remember that all the dialogue in game will then have to be detailed enough to describe or at least outline where you should be going and what you should be doing. This info could then be kept in a journal for reference. If we were able to turn off the quest markers in FO3, we'd be utterly lost. But yeah, I much prefer the sense of exploration, and I dislike it when the player character seemingly knows a lot more than he or she should.

That'd be annoying, no offense.

I'd like a fully developed Slavers Guild, that really pissed me off in Fallout 3.

They could also put in a necessity to brush your teeth, or otherwise they'll rot and fall of, in which case your charisma and speech skill plummets.

Seriously, though, they could address the wide rate of wishes for thirst in implementing a system where it is not a necessity, but only helpful/advatageous.

The gunplay part of that brings me to something else I lust for from Fallout: New Vegas

Less of the sticky, icky controls. I'd love a game that felt like Call of Duty for the controls, at least in terms of movement and such. The handling for Fallout 3 felt so stiff and robotic, while anyone with MW2 experience knows those controls flow and feel organic.

Why not go all the way to Arma 2 regarding the movement.

I want Fawkes, Charon and Jericho to recreate "The Hangover," with Mr Burke jumping naked out of the trunk of a car.

A Dynamic weather system. Acid rain = need for protection????
Possible romance? Not that cheesy Bittercup thing
More settlements that you can have some sort of interaction with, like they change to what actions you perform, not the crappy Fable Style though
A VOICE! SOME ONE GIVE ME A VOICE!
A reliance on food and water when in the waste? could ANYONE last 2 months in the waste without eating nothing but stimpacks little water? Maybe a little extreme though and difficult.
