I really want alot of things and places to explore like in Fallout 3, together with a fantastic story, to create one of the most immersive games ever!

Large area to explore would be the highest want for me. And, as I said in another thread, the Rat Pack in ghoul form.

I'd like the A.I. glitches to be fixed as well as the shotty writing of Fallout 3. I loved Fallout 3 but there where so many drop-offs in logic and contradictory plot-points... :'|

A focus on choices that matter and have positive and negative consequences, spread out through the entire game (meaning character creation as well).

Dynamic Shadowing would be nice (not trying to be a grafix [censored])

And a 10mm. A Fallout game is not a Fallout game without a 10mm Pistol

Edit: And no wuzzy weapons

That sums it up pretty good. I'd be happy with the first two alone, but the more the better.

More immersive fast travel system would be nice. Getting rid of the teleportation. The original worldmapsystem is probably too much to ask, though you never know, but something different from FO3 in any case.

I think you are going to be really disapointed. NV is not a sequal to Fallout 3. I think the best way to say it's like Halo ODST, as in Halo ODST isn't Halo 4, so don't expect much to change in NV. I don't think it will be so big, that is what Falloout 4 is for.

As for what I would like in NV, I would love to be able to drive motorcycles and some vechicles of some sorts, like a dune buggy in the desert sands. The down side, is if the gas tank gets hit, the BAMO, you get thrown off get hurt alot and maybe all your health pacs nocked out and scattered all over the place so there is a down side for driving them.

I would also love if we could have our own Brhamin so it can carry our loot like a pack rat in Morrowind's Mournhold.

I want realistic, brutal quests. It makes the game so much more realistic, one of my favourite quests in fallout 3 was the unmarked one with the cannibals and the slaver quests where also very well made.

What i mean is that the thought of little lamplight was sweet, and it is more than okay in small doses. It adds flavour and humor wich is nice, but you cant forget the fact that the wasteland is mostly a terrible place. Has anyone seen the movie "the road"? Offcourse the game doesnt have to be that terrible but i think that the way the raiders played a huge role is nice.

Yeah, pretty much my list too. The first two in particular. I'd add:

- No arbitrary good/evil system
- No quest markers (not sure how likely that is though :()

I'd add Damage Thresholds too but from what I've read there's a good chance they'll be back in NV!

Soooo true! Considering karma in Fallout 1/2 was basically another name for reputation.

Cohesive setting. Decide when the nuclear war really was and place everything accordingly. I.e. no speeches of a Prez about his idyllic childhood 200 years ago, no consumables openly lying about in the nearby supermarkets, etc. Also, at least scetch out how and why settlements exist, like in F2. I.e. this one has mines, this one has fields, this one has brahmin herds, etc.

Well-written quests that _fit the setting_, well-written dialog and interesting characters.

Climbing or a jet-pack to get on top of all the tantalizing buildings/ruins.

Environmental puzzles ? la Half-Life, only maybe with skill checks. All these ruins just cry out for something like that.

Playable 3rd person. It is unplayable for me in F3.

Oh, and quest markers and fast-travel should stay!

What I wish the most is a non-crappy port for the PS3. No game-breaking crashing bugs please.

...Agreed
I would also very much like:
_ADS (Aim Down Sights, to state the obvious)
-High level cap
-The ability to create a perfect character without mods in the vanilla game (and without the traditional system so many characters used to obtain 10's/100's)
-Give me a long development cycle and test, test, test!
-give creatures and people meaning (purpose for Raiders aside from being a pain in the ass, maybe?)
-Make sure every aspect of the game is rock-solid. Graphics, physics, AI, sound, control scheme, saving, animations, and the GECK (or whatever editing engine Obsidian attaches)

That's only one humble opinion though.

A really, really good soundtrack, with more mellow, sad sounding songs. Also a nice grouping of ambient sound for the wastes.
