I'm totally an old member. That just looks like an 8. I've been here since the early 1800s.
Yeah, well if you demolish the building housing the BGS forum servers and excavate the area you may just find a stone tablet that reads "have a fishystick" in cuneiform.
Don't know if I "count," but I'm here, and never really left. Spent probably a year here solely in the Oblivion section until I migrated to CD. I've been avoiding all the hype and nonsense in the Skyrim forums.. until it's released at least.
And If I had to say I've "missed" a member, I'd say I miss fonger the most.
NottheKing...whatever happened to him? I know he migrated to another forum, but haven't seen him there either. About 20+ from the 05 clan created a spin-off that's still going fairly strong. They're a tight community.
Other than that, you know, the usual...kids, repairs, job, schooling, etc....
I've been around in some way, shape or form since '06. I must have been about... 11 then? God, I was annoying back then. I still owe Fonger for helping me with my Oblivion problem, which I can't even remember now. I wish he was still around - and people like HeyYou. I've seen both of them around on the Nexus forums though, so there is still hope.
I think it's seriously concerning how many new posters in the Skyrim forums probably haven't been given a fishy stick. But seriously, are any of us going to risk are sanity going in there to hand them out? I didn't think so...

If I could peruse the Skyrim forums without running into redundant speculative topics or possible needless spoilers I would hand out fishy sticks. What makes it particularly fun is the fact that there's a number of certain older members who take the fishy stick religiously and get mad when people pass them out nowadays to new members. That adds to the bonus of the fact that the fishy stick (and it's hilarious variants) has always been a fun gimmick since I joined.
Isn't there a double zero somewhere in these forums? Maybe that was Donner? I think Donner was 02. I dunno. I been here since Oblivion, and made about 10 accounts between this one and then. Forgot the names and passwords for all of them before I become stable with this one.
Edit: Oh yeah, fishysticks. I got them. I also remember that one group trying to ruin the name of the good stick of fishiness. Pomatoes or something? Bleh, no one likes those.

Hungry Donner Catylyrn Zilmar (some french person, very smart) Attrebus (one of his alts) Omniscia Soursha Pete Hines
First came here while playing Morrowind, asking where that damn Cube was located. I see some before my time now and again on other parts of the forums, but others that were quite prolific posters back then, I have not seen.
Um, are we getting rounded up for the Soylent Green factory? :bolt:

HeyYou's still a regular. I think he hangs out in Oblivion Hardware most of the time...maybe the Fallouts too.
I've only had the one account. I still check in with the forums daily, but we have seen a lot of good people move on, at that. It's funny, but an ES game with Nords and dragons was the last thing I wanted in the ES series; I figured playing "Bloodmoon" was enough for the north. But since it's an Elder Scrolls game, I've preordered it anyway.
The main game that I'm looking forward to now is "The Old Republic", with "Guild Wars 2" coming in second.
I wish i had joined the forum back when i played my first Bethesda game. Daggerfall. ( did they have a forum then?) It was recently i got to know about the forum, when New Vegas was announced i saw a little text about a forum, i was like Wuut! So i joined. A question to old Bethesda fans. What do you think about the Sea Dogs serie? That Bethesda and Akella worked on? Personally i love it. Pirates and everything.
Lurked for Morrowind because I loved Daggerfall, finally signed up for the modding forums, helped folk out with testing on occasion, worked on a big mod, then left after Oblivion because I just didn't find it as weird/alien/fun as Morrowind. Now I've returned to give Skyrim a speculative eye.
Sometimes, when we're sitting near the hearth at night and warming the mead, I'll say to my wife: "At least there's still Freddo out there, helping folk, bejasus."

 It's good to know we still have Stormrider too, putting the world to rights in his own inimitable manner.
I still keep reading this topic title as "where are all the toilets?" I think I've been traumatised for life by the lack of public conveniences in Oblivion.
