So, where exactly does BGS get off?..

Post » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:24 pm

With this 1600 MSP [censored]? We waited 8 months just to get word of any info whatsoever..

Get this amazing sneak peak trailer, which made me extremely, EXTREMELY excited! Then I happen to go over to the "Details" about the video and it states just that.

I myself haven't personally been here in a long, long time because my Laptop recently died on me. But once I saw this atrocity.. I had to say something.

So, why exactly are we paying DOUBLE what we normally do for your add-ons? I'm hella curious...

I can give you a hundred reasons, but the most prominent one is that its Bethesda for gods sake. Their work deserves to be that much, hell I've never played a stupid $60 game like COD for over 400 hours. That's why.

I think the price is based off of size of content, that is a pure guess and nothing else so I cant say for sure. personally I dont mind that much because Bethesda has a history of making the DLC very enjoyable (98% of the time in my opinion).

Cheaper than Shivering Isles, but more expensive than the Fallout 3 expansions, makes me think the size and scope of the DLC lies somewhere in between the two.

Obviously, did anyone see how big each castle looks? Clearly these have to be a far ways away and if you can get to both by walking imagine how big the area is..

This is less of a DLC, and more of an expansion if I'm not mistaken. That being said, it's cheaper than what I remember paying for Shivering Isles.

All I have to say is if it's costing us that much, this map better be bigger then Skyrims. NO LIE.

From what i've seen so far it might be HALF the size of Skyrim. I just don't get it.. I imagined ppl would be furious with rage right about now after seeing that (almost like me).

Like I said, map better be bigger then Skyrims or you better have me in Dawnguard for AT LEAST 200 hrs. (very minimal I'll accept)

Shivering Isles was 2400 MSP, that would have given you a heart attack.

I see no problem in it being 20 bucks. Pretty decently sized chunck of land with new cool stuff and features. Not only it adds more of the same but also new stuff in order to improve/add more flavor to the game.

Skyrim cost 3 times the amount Dawnguard does. How does it makes sense that an ADD-ON is bigger than the original game but not as expensive?

It won't be half the size of Skyrim that′s for sure. Was said somewhere it would probably be as big as Point Lookout.

It is expensive but I thought Microsoft did all the pricing?

But by the sheer size of the 3 different places (two castles/graveyard) I think the DLC will be worth it

Because Bethesda is a real-life company and it has to make a profit?

Besides, I'd happily pay more for the DLC!

This isn't a [censored] CoD map-pack dude. This is basicly a medium sized expansion pack, which will probably (if I know beth well enough) add at least 35 hours of playtime. Even more if you do everything

And that was my favourite Fallout 3 DLC. Lets hope it's either that or a little bigger.

What? If the price is less than what Skyrim cost then it's map needs to be bigger than Skyrims? I don't think your math works right.
