So, who is looking forward to the arbitrary month-long wait

Post » Sat Jun 16, 2012 11:36 am

Well, in a perfect world they could just fix the bugs before release and push the DLC for everyone back a month. I really don't think they intend to use the Xbox owners as beta testers. Also a DLC will be significantly smaller and less likely to have nearly the amount of bugs the initial release had.
In a perfect world, yes. But bugs is gonna happen and might happen with this DLC. So hopefully a month is time enough to fix any, potential, bugs.

Does Xbox360 get the creation kit? Or the cool content it and Skyrim nexus provides?

As a PS3 owner. I think they should discount ALL dlc to everyone. After waiting for patch 1.4 for what seemed like an eternity my waiting "muscle" is so toned it could care less how long it has to wait now.

Then wait until you buy the PS3 version of the DLC and read up on how it functioning for people. Then buy it or not. Problem solved.

I may have the option of buying the DLC soon as it comes out ( that 30 days before pc or ps3), but chances are I will wait a week or two, just to see if their are any bug's/glitches that ppl complain about and how bad they are. Plus depending on content, I may not buy it at all.

I'm looking forward to the DLC also. But as a PS3 player, I will definitely wait a bit before buying it.

I don't get the whole X-box vs PS3 debate. I've played tons of games on my PS3 and have never had any issues ever until Skyrim. It's not our fault they did a half assed job making the PS3 version.

Not sure I will still be playing Skyrim by the time the DLC comes... not knocking it, just stating a fact.

However, I did come back for FALLOUT 3 a few times so there is hope I will come back to Skyrim. I just think I would have completed most of the quests by the time the DLC is released... still, there are other games to keep me busy.

PC here, don't really give a [censored]. Plenty of free 'DLC' to already choose from gracious modders on the nexus and workshop communities. That'll keep me going through the month and beyond.

Has there been any word if they are going to release DLC on disks like they did for FO 3 or will I have to wait for the GOTY to get them?
I know I could get them from XBox live I just don't.I like having an actual copy of something

Oh it'll be fun alright! not having to beta test some dlc and fill my head up with bug complaints or anger.

Hmm, if I'm not playing Skyrim DLC, I'll be doing something else. I tend to find it more productive to focus on what I am doing rather than what I'm not ...

Well, I had to wait two months for Dead Money last year, and I've got mods. A month for an expansion is nothing.

considering I still haven't become thane of anywhere but whiterun, and I haven't finished any guild quest's, main quest, or the civil war, 30 days won't bother me.

I just hope we get to build a home, and have better weapons/armor.

I don't really care if I get it a month early. And what do you mean 'riddled with bugs'. Am I seriously the only person in the world that got a bug-free copy of the game? Either that or people scream when they see invisible water.

You didn't get a bug-free game, you were just lucky enough to not encounter any bugs.

Ive noticed a few bugs here and there, but honestly with the vastness of this game, none of them have been 'game breaking' bugs for me.

Some people are just to anol about this stuff, thinking they can do better, yet their the ones buying the game, not creating it lol.

EA Banned the GT I used to complete 1&2 ;[ I can never access their servers again, for life. Their Forums are awful...Trolls falsely report you enough times, they ban you without looking into it. Otherwise, Id be loving that game ;[

Don't even know what the DLC will be yet, so can't say whether or not the wait will be annoying. However, since XBox does get the first two DLC a month ahead of time a part of me is hoping for horse armor and enhanced weddings for the first two DLC.

Ironically I would love those DLCs.

Horses fight a lot in Skyrim, they need armor. And I would love to see marriage enhanced.

Could care less, all it really seems to be is promising that it will be a bug testing session with icing on top.

Since we're 'last' apparently (along with the PC version which is M$ )

I have the game on the PS3 and PC. Haven't taken advantage of mods yet, but still having fun in Vanilla land.

Seriously, why is Microsoft screwing over PC users. What. a. dike. move.
