Remember, microsoft and Bethesda agreed on a deal where the 360 gets DLC first, and everybody else has to wait a month. Won't that be fun?

Because you PC owners are so hard done by aren't you ? , what with the CK and mods and all <_< ....

Not if they actually deflate their egos to have a professional writer to write them a stroy, but who would do that?

One of the many good reasons why the community of people who attack M.S. tend to attack their programs..

It won't bother me. I'm still playing Skyrim and have never done the MQ. I'm looking at some mods now and want to get into the CK so there's plenty to do. I still have a FNV DLC I never did...Lonesome Road; I could do that. I have an unfinished Oblivion and FO3...so much to do. I better get on it. :D :tes:

Because they're hypocrites. A couple of years ago they pledged to give more support for PC gaming but have still made Xbox their priority.

Wonder if it's payback for GFWL bombing so badly.

Lonesome Road is awesome, you should definitely get onto it :)

Couldn't care less
I'll have mods to keep me happy
I usually wait until theres a special offer or a bundle before buying DLC
I was adding up how much it would have cost to buy all the Civ V DLC released so far. You'd end up paying more than for 1 of the Civ IV expansions for less content. Defnitely not something to rush into

Oh noes, Xbox 360 users get the first 2 items of Skyrim DLC 30 days before anyone else? That makes me like totally jelly, I mean us poor slobs on PC only get access to the creation kit and a database of thousands of free mods while you guys on Xbox 360 get access to 2 pieces of DLC (which you need to pay extra for) a full 30 DAYS before everyone else, so jelly right now.

But seriously has there been any word on Official DLC yet? Like when we can expect an announcement or something?

Official DLC > Unofficial, poorly written and buggy mods every time.

I guess it all depends on how good the official DLC for Skyrim is but I know this certainly wasnt the case for Oblivion, unofficial mods did far more to enhance my game in Oblivion than any of the official mods could ever dream of doing, I mean the only real noteworthy DLC for Oblivion was Frostcrag Spire and we got player homes that either rivaled it or far surpassed it in terms of quality. Dont be so quick to dismiss all user created mods as "poorly written and buggy" because there are some very talented modders out there who do put out high quality mods.

Also does anyone know if Valve have any plans to release any other mods for Skyrim? I noticed that the Space Core Mod was Volume 1, does this mean that Valve plans to release more?

You've clearly never played any mods, and it shows.

The Elder Scrolls modding community is one of the most mature and spectacular communities there is. There are many, many mods for Morrowind, Oblivion and Skyrim which rival, and a lot of the time beat Bethesda's DLCs in quality, story, content and reliability. So I'd appreciate it if you didn't play the "mods are rubbish" card, because it's simply not true. Anyone here will tell you that.

^This, plus what has been done for FO3 and FO:NV.

I also play on a PS3 and I enjoy it. (Only serious prob I had with Skyrim was with Yngol Barrow.) It is four+ years old and never had a prob with it. My daughter's 360 red ringed at two months old, and I have friends who have had multiple 360s red ring. What I want is for Sony to make a new PS with up to date hardware and a way to update it as needed.

I can wait a month or four for DLC.

"update as needed" For PS means "Someone hacked the PS3 and made it do something cool!" - "Update the firmware, NAO!"

Because they don't get a cut from PC game sales. Valve does (in case of Skyrim). And why would they want to aid, or not hinder competition?

I don't get it, why would MS get a cut of PC sales for Skyrim without Steam?

If it turns out to be Skyrim's version of Operation: Anchorage, it's a moot point.

I don't even have anyway to get the DLC even if I want it, sadly. Xbox Live no work on Dial-Up.

They wouldn't. All i said was that Valve gets a cut as Skyrim is a Steam game.

Oh I misunderstood, since you specified PC and didn't add PS3 as well, it was a bit confusing as to what you were implying.
