Why Do Argonians Have briasts? : V - Skyrim

He's Vivic. He might be lost in Oblivion right now, but his awesomeness makes every woman pregnant without him even doing anything. Why else is his palace locked? He didn't want to overpopulate Vvardenfall or Morrowind.

This is an epic win if I've ever seen one. I must archiveth this for the future generations.

So if your character(Nerevarine.) was female she could have gotten pregnant? I can imagine it. She ends up having Vivics kid and as usual like in real life. The father ends up paying childsupport.

Which makes little sense considering their line from Morrowind where they call you warmblood if you're not an Argonian.

What's odd about Vivec. He's a double barreled gun, something unknown in that?

Well, Khajiit get moons. Argonians get a tree. A tree that might be the son of Vivic or maybe Vivic is part tree.

It depends on safety of the clan and proximity to the Hist how Argonians reproduce.

When the tribe is safe, close to Black Marsh and in times of plenty Argonians lay eggs. Presumably this reduces stress on the mother.

When far from the Hist, such as in Skyrim, Argonians give live birth. This to increase survival chances of the offspring.

I don't understand how briasts containing mammary glands could possibly benefit a reptilian race at all since they don't feed their children milk. Unless they can spray venom from the briasts or magically their children drink milk, its pretty much useless lol.

Female Argonians are not as strong as males, so use certain sacs in their chest cavity to store gas to help with buoyancy during swimming.

The developers have explained this many times. Argonians are not reptiles technically. They have reptilian, amphibian, and mammalian features (hence the briasts). I've read from several sources they even switch gender halfway through their lives. They're just.....odd, but that's ok because they're argonians. They dont have to fit in with any real-world taxonomical definition.

Basically this. It has to do with how many times they "licked the hist" too.

Argonians are oviviparous according to devs.

So if I drank hist as I child I'd turn into the GEICO lizard? Thats scary. What happens to baby argonians who don't get their Flintstones' Hist Vitamins? Or maybe argonians briasts are filled with hist for their babies, lol.

Well maybe Argonian hatchlings still need to be briastfed?

They do. It just depends on the form they take upon birth and stuff. The first two are just the ones you see. It's funny that we're talking about tatas and the mods don't mind... Tatas is a fun word...

I believe that it varies from cat to cat, though perhaps I am wrong.

Perhaps Khajiit have multiple nipbles per briast.
