I couldn't care less

See, we could guess you were over 30, just from the fact that you used the phrase correctly

47 last month. Started playing RPGs when I was 14 but I'd been playing strategy games for a few years before that and I think I was the only girl in my school with a Minifigs Ancients army.

In my 30s. All my friends too (who play Skyrim).

Umm, 30s and under is a typical gaming age, so it's not a big deal imo.

Hey,

I cut my teeth on Zork and Text based adventures on school 8 bit computers.....couldn't afford one in my family but once I was working got those at's and xt's and crazy 5 1/4 disks.

I've had a computer since then and I've always played games....going back to ataris and other modern adventures like space invaders.

Growing up in the eighties, meant for my lot , the start of those who computer game.

I guess your like most people on the net these days your just looking for a date?

Rogueone.

EDIT: I play Skyrim on the PC; he plays on the X-Box - that way no fighting over who gets to play.

99 and still kicking...nah, I'm only 41. Still playing games though. Started with Pong, Space Invaders, and Asteroids back in the 70's. Looking at games now, I am sometimes, still amazed at how far they have come in that time.

Man, I remember when my grandkid used to play pong at the arcade. Then he went and spent the graduation money I gave him on that damned shiny atari. Instead of spending it on something like a suit. You know. For a job. Granted, it was pretty fun looking back at it. Hours in the den, just relaxing

Are there any Skyrim players that are aged thirty and older on here???(male and female).

yep. I think games like Skyrim are greatly aimed at this age range. I think the younger fan would be more at home with a run around & shoot game.

Skyrim takes a lot more thought and design aspects with regards to character design etc

Im in the 30s and I've been gaming since early 90s. I discovered TES in 2003 or 2004 when I bought a video card with Morrowind as bundle game. Happy times!

Somehow this thread made me envision old grandpa in his nineties shouting FUS RO DAH...
and sounding vaguely like a Khajit.

yep... 43 year old Aussie female playing the Xbox 360 version .... loved Morrowind, Oblivion and now Skyrim... a few small hiccups here and there and I'm finding the Crimson Nirnroot quest in Blackreach a little challenging... can't find a way how to reach the Nirnroot in the middle of the waterfall... tried jumping a couple of times and you can imagine how that ended :)

My 37 partner is frustrated... he has the ps3 version and has the Thieves Guild glitch where the quest won't start so he's stopped playing after almost 70 hours... he can't wait until that is fixed... it's weird because my daughter started a game on the ps3 and has been able to start the quest so I don't know why she could do it and not him.... does anyone know why?

I am 44 and female. I used to be a games journalist in the 1990s (in the UK) and have always been a hardcoe gamer. I can spend hours at my PC. My other "hobby" is riding rollercoasters (I've got nearly 600 under my belt - despite being English I've likely been to more US states than most Americans just to visit amusemant parks). I am just a big kid, really.

I don't have kids, or a partner currently so I can please myself. I did nearly lose a boyfriend over the amount of time I put into Ultima Online a few years back so it's not just fellas who have to put up with other halves moaning about their gaming.

I work out a lot (mostly heavy weights) to try and counteract the amount of time I spend sitting at my PC but posture and mobility suffer a lot. I now work as a PE teacher so at least my job is active and gets me outdoors!

Nice to know we have so many mature people here.

I come from a family where gaming is strictly for 10 year olds, so it`s refreshing to see i`m not the only one. :)
