I remember not very many weeks ago sitting around telling people not to worry, that some of the features released on the Kinect Update would be available for the PC too. I actually thought that. Never happened. Came to learn later that all those inventory features were KINECT only. Lame, but hey! Just the way it is.

It would be hilarious to me if DG doesn't get released on PC. I would be watching the forums just to see all the talk about betrayal, backstabbing, lies or corruption at Bethesda. Some people just take video games way too personally.

I think Bethesda needs to jump on board with sony for their next games, especially for next gen since theoretically the ps3 should run massive open world games better (skyrim seems to be an exception here) also a lot of other open world game publishers seems to be going with sony i.e. sony and rockstar

Buddy of mine was lucky enough to get the DG CK when it was accidently put up. So it will be out on PC at least. Just don't know about Sony.

Dawnguard = $$$$. As much as people talk boycotts, the minute it is out for PC (and it will come out), people will buy it. I remember a Steam usergroup boycott of Dragon Age 2, called something like "WE WILL NEVER BUY THIS GAME", which has thousands people online playing the game upon launch.

People can get annoyed at whatever they want to be annoyed at, but no, I don't think getting furious at not having a video game is justified. When you were a kid and a new toy came out but your mom said you can't have it, would your temper tantrum be justified or not?

That's the way I see it.

Whiny, needy, self-entitled kids that gripe about not having their shiny fix soon enough is not justified to me, at all.

I play on PC. There is no reversing to be done.

And that's really the source of my frustration with some of the forum posts here. Why in the world are people so addicted to video games that a temporary withdrawal, or heaven forbid some sort of denial, sends them into wild fits?

It's not healthy, it's not a good way to live, and the life model that underlies that sort of craving for entertainment is corrosive at best.

Eat some carrots, go for a walk, and forget about the video games for a while. Before you know it, you won't even care whether DG ever comes out or not.

At least you guys have mods to keep you company.

One month isn't too terrible. I'm just going to do my best to stay away from spoilers; and enjoy my load order of 60+ mods right now.

We usually have an advantage to console players. It doesn't kill me that they get a 20 buck DLC before we do.

On the bright side my summer holidays are in a month, but on the other hand that will mean I will complete it over much fewer days... I believe on the xbox it is ￡12, do you think they will make it cost more for PC? To be honest it would not surprise me, with Microsoft bribing Zenimax and all.

We very likely won't hear anything until the thirty day period is up, and then you'll have to wait however extra long for release. Look at Dead Money for Fallout New Vegas, that released under the same deal, and PC didn't get it for two months and PS3 didn't get it for freaking ages.

A lot of you guys are overreacting a little bit. After you play on Ultra settings with 8x AA in 1920x1080 and a host of custom texture packs ... the very idea of playing vanilla Skyrim is like complaining about your neighbor getting to ride a tricycle when you have a 10-speed mountain bike in the garage....

Just wait the 30 days and play Dawnguard when it comes out. Yeah it svcks, but it'll be worth the wait.

Edit: but now on a more serious tone, it isn't really that bad that it is only a 30 day delay for other platforms.
Money is money, doesn't matter how they (legaly) get it, so if Microsoft wants this and are prepared to pay, then let them(only if it is ONE month, more is unaccaptable), that means also more money for bethesda for expansions and FO4.

why you guys are talking about a month? its more than a month for pc and ps3 cause french, germans, spanish and italian versions arent even translated for xbox. They said probably translation are going to finish in mid july so game will be available for ps3/pc on mid august.

It's already completed for the other platforms, it's just a matter of uploading it. Besides the foreign language versions for the Xbox are coming out mid July.
