and now the wait begins for PC..

Post » Fri Nov 16, 2012 5:12 am

It's already completed for the other platforms, it's just a matter of uploading it. Besides the foreign language versions for the Xbox are coming out mid July.
yes as i said its coming out mid july so you just forgot the 1 month exclusivity :-) in those 4 countries mid august it seems, dunno if in usa its gonna be mid august too

Most likely it'll be July 31 for English version and mid August for FIGS. PC & PS3.

Sounds like plenty of jealous PC users cannot accept that the 360 gets 30-day exclusivity. You only have to wait another month, its not exactly a big deal.

I am. :( Wish when I got off work I could go home and play through the DLC. Guess I'll go train for my 5K.

I'm assuming you play it on the 360. Chances are you would be complaining as well if the roles were reversed.

My point is that even if Xbox users got it 2-months in advance... or 3 months... I wouldn't be complaining, because I don't want to play Dawnguard on an Xbox.

It's summertime people, go play outside while you wait =)
All of my friends are vacationing in different places. All I'm planning on doing this summer is staying home, sitting on my lazy butt and play Skyrim.

Why don't you imagine that XBOX users have to wait 30 days and PC users get it 30 days earlier. Personally, I have no problem with XBOX USERS enjoying Dawnguard. My problem is with Microsoft but that's a different story. Personally, I haven't played Moonpath to Elsweyr mod yet so that'll hold me over.

That and watching Dawnguard gameplay videos on youtube.

You get mods, we get Developer-made DLC first... Kinda ekes out, really... It's the PS3 players I feel sorry for.
Mods are not a valid point of contrast. PC users have machines able to use them an the editor. By nature we have more freedom with the system. In effect, we payed for the privilege.

I am on the 360, I've downloaded it but I've only played the first 10 minutes of it, I'm not fussed about it in the end, its just a game. At the end of the day, as much as I love TES games, if I had to wait an extra 30 days, so what? Skyrim has plenty in it to keep me interested without the DLC.

Mods are fun, but they don't compare to official stuff from the Devs.

What put them on the map is money, friend. And not having access to a video game is not an injury by any stretch of any reasonable person's imagination. I can't believe you honestly sit there and tell me that you are hurt because you can't play your game for a month. Who raised you?

But that's not the point. There's no such thing as loyalty or favoritism when you talk about an industry. Bethesda doesn't know you, and they don't care about you, or me. They care about money, which is the same thing they've wanted since the start. When you played those older games and gave them money, they loved you just as much as when you play new games and give them money.

That's why I can't ever agree with you. Bethesda isn't a person. They aren't your friend. They are company that does business and that's it.

That's not slimy or corrupt or despicable or anything negative. It's the exact same thing any company would do, and it's the same thing any person would do if they were in charge.

This is all I want. I just want to know whether it's going to be a month's wait, or if we're going to be waiting till September or October and I should just forget about the whole thing till then.

Big [censored] if you ask me. Otherwise every Skyrim fan would be playing dawnguard as we speak.

a-holes

Are you serious? PC users will get Dawnguard eventually, as will PS3 users. I think it is smart of Bethesda to let exclusivity on DLC if it means more money in their pocket from MS.
