Followers of the Apoc get kicked out of old Mormon fort even after joining them and helping the ncr when there only supposed to get kicked out if you joined the ncr and didn't join the followers also.

I had several crashes when I was playing in hardcoe mode. It seemed to crash more likely when I had hydration sickness and fast travel (I had autosave by default). I did also experienced fps lag in hardcoe mode and this was aftrer first patch. Now I'm playing again with normal mode and crashes and lag has decreased guite well.

Animals (often radscorpions) turn upside down or "dive nose down" when spectating from upper perspective. Several issues with strip and hidden valley gates/door which lock down depending in what order I'm playing the quests.

Unfortunately I've seen all this and many more before in Fallout 3 and it really does ruin the experience. Next time I will wait for complete product and read the reviews...

My bug

The Barge to go the The Fort is broken, there is no activation option for it at all. Basically I cannot get to the Fort which means my main storyline thread is dead.

I'll probably end up pulling the Cell ID out of the GECK and coc'ing there.

anyone getting the repair crash at the NPC? What I means that you ask an NPC to repair your gear and they try to do it but the minute they end there talking it crashes.

My bug

The Barge to go the The Fort is broken, there is no activation option for it at all. Basically I cannot get to the Fort which means my main storyline thread is dead.

I'll probably end up pulling the Cell ID out of the GECK and coc'ing there.

Do you activate the barge? I thought you talked to someone to get there... Actually, I think he comes up and talks to you.

When I was asked to go from novac to the ghoul's place (the one that got infested), I did not encounter any ghoul, and as soon as I entered that place and killed a coyote, even If I had gained enough xp to level up (the bar showed saying me "you levelled up"), nothing happened.
I left (for lucky, because I had to go) the game, and now it works.
As soon as I approached the bridge I encountered some ghouls and I didn't have the levelling up issue.

Saving the game right before approaching the ghoul Harland, talking to him, then reload to the game before approaching him makes dialogue go crazy. They become speedy and unreadable.

Killing ghouls sometimes makes you gain positive karma

Edit: Frequently npc get stuck, or look at something else while chasing you ( I mean, you are fighting them, but sometimes they lose "orientation" , and look at the opposite part you are).

This one's been around at least since Oblivion. I think I recall it in Morrowind too.

If the guy you talk to is dead there is a place on the floor (the pier) where he stood that you can click on to go to the Fort (I know, clicking on the floor is weird, but it worked for me).

Now why they didn't put a boat there to click on when there are already boat models in the game seems weird to me...

Inside the bunker some items you drop on the ground will sink through the floor and vanish, at times they appear above in the shack.

(another bug?) I cleaned the place of crazy nightkins, and I solved the optional quest for Davison. But as soon as I talk with him he starts attacking me, with no apparently reasons. He is neutral, then I click e on him and he goes crazy. reloading didn't work, and I had to kill him

Holstering side arms while running, specifically the 9mm and the Maria variant will *SOMETIMES* cause them to slide around the back and then disappear into
the PC. Reloading will fix it.

Cards that are purchased from vendors are not added to the Caravan deck, but remain loose in the Misc. inventory. Probably true for looted cards as well, but I haven't looted any yet.


I know it's dumb, but take the individual cards and put them into a container. Like a box, or ED-E. Then take them right back out. You don't even have to close the container. Now the cards will be gone from inventory and in your deck.

Lets see if we can get that fixed before the bug reaches 5 years old.

Has there been any news on a 3rd PC patch (it would be the 3rd, right?)? Getting f'd over by bugs during quests is still making me want to...speak my mind to Obsidian.

A couple off the top of my head:
- In basemant kitchen of Luxe, companions needlessly attack white gloves, screwing over your quests down there.
- I get stuck at the Gomorrah entrance since the greeter won't auto-greet me to remove my weapons, screwing over your quests in there.

edit: - also, just [censored] companions in general. They overreact way too aggressively even if they're put on passive and they get lost constantly and they randomly decide to not follow you and head off in their own direction since they saw an ant 400 yards away.

i don't really know if this is a bug or something the team just needs to look at but companion AI behavior can be a bit frustrating in some of the vaults trying to keep the companions i had with me ed-e & Veronica in line. Half the time their not following me the other half their fighting any thing in the general area i'm talking people and things i haven't even seen yet for example if im in room one of a five room hall way lets stay theirs bad guys in room 4 behind a closed door. With out warning ed-e and veronica would just up and leave me to fight them and i had them set to passive i play on very hard hardcoe mode and it was really a pain having to keep my eye on them the whole time trying to do a mission when their blindly running from one bad guy to the next starting a chain reaction that would eventually lead to all the bad guys in the general area attacking us. :sadvaultboy:

Is the FaceGen bug listed?

Seriously, with people doing manual patches for this FaceGen crap, the developers should start making an official patch for the rest of the users who can't make the d3d dll work.

Please include FaceGen on this list so the developers would take note. It's really horrible, ~40% decrease in performance on some machines, and sometimes even going to as low as a 5 FPS slideshow on some accounts.

The 'decrease in performance percentage' is based on improvement reports gained by using the dll. Now, can't the developers make a similar but official patch to fix this up? Poor programming, really…

Steam cache integrity verification always fails. I'm using the italian version of the game (installed from a retail DVD). After cache verification, Steam complains there is 1 file to re-download.
It downloads a file 808 bytes long. Obviously, this doesn't solve the verification problem, so if you re-verify your cache, it will be downloaded again and again.
I don't know how to be more specific to help shoot this problem, if you have any advice please post.

Upon going to the casino to grab Veronica as my companion she says the dialog that confirms she's ready. Right after I say "Goodbye" she initiates conversation saying "What's up?" After this I say goodbye again and she stays stationary not following me, have tried all ways of trying to get her to follow me changing distance, weapons, armor, told her to return to 188 and still she won't follow. I'm assuming it has something to do with her initiating dialogue with me right after I tell her to follow me.

Vault 19

Numerous map bugs around mostly in the cave level, see through floors etc.

Audio logs in the doctors office mention the "Police" bringing in people numerous times (I imagine they meant vault security, yet there is no mention outside of that about security etc around the vault)

The fact every single dresser and locker has enough pre-war clothes to give an out fit for every single npc in the game to wear.


top it all off the entire vault seems off, like it was rushed, or done very early or by a mapper who was new. (the terminal in the overseer office for example says that the reactor level is sealed off and they and the people above in the normal vault have no idea each other exist, ok if thats the case where the hell did the reactor people live?) etc doesn't seem well thought out compared to the other vaults.

I don't now bug or not, but when around me a lot of NPC 4, 5 or more I have frame rate drops a lot, like slide show :obliviongate:

I am not sure what causes the problem i have.

It first started at the Helios plant, i entered killed the guard robot but dies from the turrets, after i tried to quickload, the game crashed. Nor did want to load the autosave or the proper manual save. Now i rolled back my save files to previous versions, which was a couple of days playtime lost, but better that starting from the beginning. Everything worked fine, so i decided to skip the helios, because i thought there was something bugged there, decided to go to black mountain and got killed by a giant radscorpion. And the same thing happened, i cant load into ANY saves, manual or otherwise.

So i guess i cant die. If i die my saves go to s**t for some or other reason. Did anyone have this problem ?
