Not judging a book by it's cover is fine, but when it's entitled 'We wantZ moAr monies and to hell with integrity' it's not going to be a good read.

Crysis 2 does not deserve it's name, it's not even remotely related to the story of the first except for aliens and nanosuits!

Until crytek prove to us that the pc version will be a true sequel, the book is covered in **** and i'm not interesting in opening it.

No chance, the console versions of online will be full of cod:mw2 'pros' and the beta will cause the game to be skewed more towards making the game 'crysis:mw2' because that's what the xbox kiddo's will scream for.

You do realize it's a closed Beta, right? They'll most likely pick the right people for this job. And perhaps the same for PS3 and PC, etc. etc. etc.

It was called a closed beta for a reason. Not an open beta.

^^^yep hopefully the first wave of ppl that cared enough to sign up on the site when it first launched get into the BETA. I highly doubt that many MW2 kids even care about Crysis 2, b/c they are too busy dreaming about Black Ops.

You'll get assholes from the PC group, you'll get assholes from the PS3 and the same goes to the 360. There's good people hidden beneath, so most likely those users will get a chance to fairly beta test it.

Let's hope that's the case though.

Yeah, and look how they (EA) botched the release of the MoH Beta for 360.
I was able to play it on PS3 and it looks like I'm going to save $65.
I was NOT impressed in the slightest. To similar to BF MP. And for good reason... as DICE created both.

Dare I say it, Crysis is nothing like Call of Duty. People need to find a new medium.

Pending I recieve a code, I'll be playing the beta on the Xbox 360 as well as the final product. I've participated in many beta programs since I've been on next gen and I'm surely going to put the best feedback forward for Crysis 2. Thanks

So true, but having a few assholes in the Beta is welcome since those are the type of players that find game breaking exploits/glitches that can be fixed before the full game's release. So thank god for assholes, we couldn't live without 'em, literally

I am glad I own a xbox 360 although I think it is senseless and unfair to exclude other consoles I can not wait for the beta.

I highly doubt this. As many people have already stated why would they advertise the beta as multiplatform and only have it for the Eks Bawx?

I also read that post and I think that guy must have been misinformed.

it being a closed beta does not mean that it is exclusive. just means that you need to get into it in a odd way. It will not be a demo or you need to sign up for the website to get beta type of thing.

I remain convinced there would have been a great deal of rage from consoles if it was pc only Beta, After all, the intention of the hype was to make the game appeal to console, that worked.

Though I do disagree with all the rage, Infact I posted an article about Beta not being a garanteed right to anyone, and the intention behind Beta, This seemed for the most part, to get a posative response, It was intended for those who seemed to think they owned the Beta allready and were sick of waiting for it, so it wasnt all posative, lol.

**** Happens, !!! No rage from me, would have been better im sure to have a closed Beta across the platforms, gives an even balance of opinions suggestions and reliable feedback as with MoH. 360 ran a bit late but was included.

TBH, the thing that really got to me is,
gamesas told of a VERY LIMITED STOCK Nano Edition, not available in store, is available, price is good for what we get, the idea is fantastic, and the true die hard's among us are just biting the bit to get it pre-ordered.

I doubt it's exclusive, it's just annoying to see that there have been huge announcements for the 360 and not even a whiff of what the PC/PS3 are going to be getting. I think there should be some some unfortunate information leak *wink wink crytek* regarding the PC/PS3 version

First of all its too early to talk about Crysis 3 b/c Crysis 2 hasn't even released, and second of all there is no way Crysis 3 would be an Xbox exclusive. Crytek would never do that to their fans.

The only thing that gets my goat is the only 360 marketing. I am sure that the other versions will get beta's later. I am surprised that a beta is coming in fall anyway with the release date being pushed back.

Its just very annoying how the Xbox360 gets all the attention. If you didnt nose around here enough, you would be surprised this game is multiplatform at all. I think Crytek should have a talk with EA about releasing some footage from other versions. At this point, their marketing scheme is hurting them more than helping. The closed beta is just an explosion from everyones pent up feelings that they kept about the 360 getting all the loving.

Yes I know is no Crysis 3 yet, but My point is I have seen this type of thing to alot of games. I was like IW would never do this or that to MW2 on PC and then boom they did.
