Yeah... I kill the Vigilants whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I think tonight my Dunmer Vampire Assassin may just make an assault on their headquarters...

The topic is about Dawnguard. We are talking about Dawnguard being about Vigilantes.

And if if was off-topic, you could of just quoted him and said the same thing, since he broached the subject.

I'd be happy with something to do with the Vigilants...

Speaking of assaulting their headquarters, I might have to turn up there and undergo a werewolf transformation. I did that at the Thalmor Embassy once....Priceless.

Nope, everyone is either saying Vigilants, Volkihar, or return of snow prince

Why would we hate? who can hate someone who goes as by Baldymort? Volkihar are special OP vampires... alot on them in lore, they're vamps have special traits such as even if they've just fed they look unhuman, etc skyrim claims its vampire npc are volkihar but by the way lore describes them they're not

anyway a vampire war seems unlikely, IMO. the most likely one would be
1) Snow Prince, nuff said
2) vigilant declares war on things, options on who to side with

The native vampire tribe of Skyrim. Paranoid and cruel. They live under frozen haunted lakes. They only venture out of their icy dens to feed. They can reach out of the ice without breaking it and drag a person under. I bet they're ugly, looking like the 30 days of night vampires.

The ones we have in Skyrim now are just called Sanguinare Vampiris. Many people think they are the Cyrodiilic vampires who breached the border of Skyrim. Now the DLC rumors have it that it's going to be Snow Prince and vampire based.

That's called being on the internet. :P

And I just realized that there are more important things, than the main story or even Werewolves and Vampires.

Will there be a Colovian fur helm?
This is probably the most important question of all.

Or not. I don't want to get out of topic, but Movarth Piquine is a Cyrodiilic vampire. And they all have similar traits as the Cyrodiilic vampires, including the fact that they can blend in, a power that only the Order of Cyrodiil can do.

But hey, this isn't a "Twilight" topic, is it now? Let's get back to discussing, erm, Snowy Princes.

People gave a lore reasoning for unaltered Vamp mechanics from Oblivion? laaawl. Just...just no lol

Ever stopped to think that some GameJam things are being added as peripherals to Expansion packs? Vampirism and crossbows may simply be additions rather than the main point of the DLC :o

I wish I could say the same for the main quest. There was much more important things than dragons and dragonborn.

People didn't give it anything. Ingame books did.

that sounds amazing, and actually makes alot of sense, inline with patch leak{hack} and also fits into the dawnuard name, protector of the light etc, sounds like either way its going to add alot of depth into the game.

The ingame books were written by people, but I understand what you mean.

I agree, and if they add something to vampires I might actually consider playing as one.

like wolfy said
skyrim vampires are sometimes labelled as volkihar but in fact their traits suggest they're sanguinare (oblivion vampire)

I was criticizing the shameless rational for old mechanics made by fans, and he slapped me with. "its in the Books" leading to my defeat.

The Snow Prince is a Volkihar vampire and we will be able to become one of them or destroy them.
