I so much hope we'll see something related to Lamae Beolfag and to the Shrieking Winds.

Well if i remember lore correctly, she gave birth to the first true clan of vampires and then they gave birth to the various other clans of vampires (more or less anyways.) They could be the direct descendants of Lamae Beolfag which could explain why they can transform.

Indeed it is plausible Beth paid due notice to the vocal majority around here and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that in and of itself. That's why I chose to post my disenchantment with the whole vampiresque burlesque theme park they appear to have gone with. Who knows, perhaps they'll listen to the vocal minority

Well, I hope they take note for the next expansion... At least we should see spears and Morrowind
Vampires are no more clichees than dragons. The problem is how they're treated in this expansion. I hoped to see more vampires like count Hassildor with interesting backgrounds, maybe tied with the current political plots. And what do we get? Another evil overlord trying to take over the world.

The Trailer! Awesome one! I thought that if they have vampires in the Dawnguard it wouldn't be nice but now I think it in other way. Dawnguard order, crossbows and chance to hunt beast-like vampires is something which I can't even describe. Only thing which bothers me now is which of my characters goes into that DLC first or am I making a new one - too hard to decide it yet.

I must agree with you here. I actually wanted some vampire politics meddling in current mortal affairs. Like maybe the Order clan from Cyrodiil who are political manipulators. But I confess, Dawnguard will be interesting.
