Sorry, I see your point but I don't agree, mate.
My decision was made based on previous experience on Xbox Live: with the english UK version of any other games it's always been possible to download the english DLC.

What is happening with Skyrim, then, is unexpected and surprising.
It's not even coherent, since when patch 1.6 came out in english regions, i could download it immediately, weeks before it came out in Italy.
Why is the same not happening with the DLC, then?

It's a matter of decisions and consequences only if, when you make the decision, you're aware of the consequences.
If i had known this was gonna happen i would've considered buying the local version.

As much as I can respect Bethesda's decision, it feels quite unfair to me.
As a matter of fact, Bethesda's decision seems not to respect me and people like me.
We haven't done anything wrong, we're not talking about piracy here; we are legitimate owners of Skyrim, we paid for it like everybody else, and we should be entitled to have the same support.

As you said, no one forces me to buy Dawnguard; the problem is, i WANT to buy it, only I can't.

As you can imagine, It's disappointing.

P.S.: If I could choose to play Skyrim on PC, I would.

Yes, should be out today in Italy. Currently I'm in office so I didn't check, but that's what they told us. And about the compatibility...no news !!

Yep it's out, but if you noticed the title says "Dawnguard (italiano)" so the fact that they specified the language makes me think that there's still hope...
For instance here in italy all the Call of Duty Black Ops DLCs came out in both italian language and in english so you could choose wich to download...

Arrgh ...So no dawnguard for me. Even if the figs dlc initially works with the english version of skyrim (besides the language mix). there will still be an issue with patches. as the game will still load the english patches and not the ones for the figs version. (could lead to a problem).

this is not just an italian problem. There are users from Germany, France, Denmark, etc..who have posted here before.

Man, you should really stop to flame and bothering us for asking what we have the right to know. Being silent and grateful will never get you anywhere; if you have a problem you should fight to get it over with. Being silent resolves nothing. We're waiting for an answer, not crying like children that want the english version at all costs. If they tell us "no, you can't have it in english, sorry" we'll be fine, pissed off but fine, there are other ways to download Dawnguard in english.

I am a great Bethesda fan, i love their work and I'll always be grateful for the hundreds of hours of fun i had with their titles, including Skyrim.
Asking a question isn't a crime and downloading a DLC is not an "opportunity": We paid for the game, we're gonna pay for the DLC (if we can).

Nobody is unrespectful, we're just asking if it's possible to enjoy this DLC or not, nobody would make any fuss if it wasn't for him...

Bethesda don't need you to come here and fight us, though; if and when thay have something to say they will do it themselves.
