(speaking to bethesda forums users, specifically those with pc and ps3 versions of skyrim) i mean, shouldn't i be angry? shouldn't YOU be angry? they are showing how much they don't care about any one of you by just not saying ANYTHING...im sure many of you can't afford to have a pc and a console and every game that comes out, and many of you have a tight budget to keep to because of the economy where some planning would come in nicely for your purchases...so we should probably do more to bring attention to bethesda that whenever it releases, we would like to be given some idea like not necessarily a date but a MONTH to go with here! i just figured id bring this up since i checked on the forums and as far as i could see it just seemed like no one was discussing this! if im the only one upset then whatever, but i feel like the least i can do to show my distaste is to skip dawnguard for a few weeks here to show by my wallet how i feel mistreated by this action, and get it in august...i know people can be harsh on forums anywhere online (i know my post here will probably get condescended trolled and insulted by a million people by the end of today, but im saying this bc it has to be said not because its easy to say) but don't let that deter you from speaking up!
I don't think you should be upset, no. I'm not upset, and I play on the PC.
So many people these days get all insulted when they aren't getting the shiniest sticker. Why? I've seen so many people rant and rant about how Bethesda doesn't "care" about them or is being "rude" or .. all sorts of things.
No.
Bethesda isn't a person. They aren't your friend. They certainly don't
owe you anything. They sell a product just like any other company in the universe. Sure they want to be respectful, but there's nothing disrespectful about staying silent. Goodness.
Do you get an email from Toyota every time they plan a new feature in their next cars? Do you expect to?
When LG designs a new washing machine, do they post on their website the expected launch date?
I mean, c'mon people. Bethesda is doing business. They probably have a contract clause somewhere that says they can't announce anything about the addons while they are in the exclusive period. Besides, they've ALREADY MENTIONED that these exclusive periods will be 30 days. THIRTY DAYS is your answer. They've ALREADY told you.
Sure, it's normal for companies to announce things that they are excited about, and give a general idea of the timeline. Guess what folks? Dawnguard has BEEN announced, and your have a general idea of the timeline.
Why the heck is everyone feeling like they deserve more? Why does everyone think their $60 is so special?
